100-Year-Old Christian Church Completely Destroyed by Massive Fire in London

A massive fire tore through the historic Kings Hall Methodist Church in Southall, West London, reducing the more than 100-year-old building to rubble.

Ten fire engines and dozens of firefighters responded to the scene around 9:30 p.m., battling the blaze for hours.

Footage showed flames shooting through stained-glass windows and thick smoke pouring into the night sky as onlookers gathered nearby.

The church, which had stood since the early 1900s, survived two world wars and more than a century of British history, only to be devastated in a single night.
