Award-winning “American Idol” executive Robin Kaye has been found murdered alongside her husband inside their $5 million Los Angeles mansion, according to breaking news reports.
Police confirmed that Kaye and her musician husband, Thomas Deluca, were killed in a gruesome double homicide.
The shocking incident that underscores the growing lawlessness plaguing Democrat-run cities like Los Angeles.
Kaye is a music supervisor credited with more than 15 seasons and 300 episodes of the popular reality show.
They were both shot execution-style in the head, according to law enforcement officials.
The couple, both 70, were discovered Monday in their upscale Encino residence following a welfare check.
The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed that responding officers saw blood at the front of the property before forcing entry through a window.
Once inside, they made the chilling discovery: both victims had been killed in what authorities are now investigating as a double homicide.
TMZ reported that just days prior, on Thursday, police had been dispatched to the same home for a reported attempted break-in.
A suspect, possibly armed, had been seen hopping a fence, a serious red flag that appears to have gone unheeded.
Concerned neighbors and family members had not heard from the couple in four days, prompting the welfare check that ultimately uncovered the crime.

The brutal killings come as Los Angeles continues to face a wave of violent crime, fueled by lenient policies, defunded policing, and progressive leadership that critics say has eroded law and order across the city.
The murders of Kaye and Deluca, two prominent entertainment figures, have sent shockwaves through both Hollywood and the broader public.
Kaye’s career in the entertainment industry spanned decades.
Her work earned her multiple Guild of Music Supervisors Awards, and she contributed to several high-profile productions, including “Lip Sync Battle,” “Hollywood Game Night,” and the “NAACP Image Awards.”
In a 2017 interview, Kaye described her role as vital yet often overlooked:
“It’s one of those parts of the business that people don’t even know it exists,” she said.
“Pretty much everything in the entertainment industry has music in it, and people just think that it’s there.”
Deluca, a musician, released his last album, “Street Rock,” in 2022.
His debut album “Down To The Wire” was released in 1986 under Epic Records and became a cult favorite, according to his official website.
The couple had only recently moved into the Encino property.
They purchased the home in January 2023, public records show.
At the time of this writing, the Los Angeles Police Department has not publicly named a suspect, and the motive remains unclear.
However, the incident is certain to reignite debate about rising crime in California and the failure of city officials to secure even the wealthiest neighborhoods.
As Los Angeles continues to spiral under soft-on-crime leadership, tragic cases like this continue to raise pressing questions.
How many more must die before the city finally gets serious about public safety?
