Biden Aides Blow Whistle: Kamala Harris ‘Was Simply Not Good at the Job’

Former President Joe Biden’s White House staffers have just thrown Kamala Harris under the bus.

They are lashing out at former Vice President Harris after excerpts from her upcoming book portrayed Biden’s team as unsupportive.

Harris’s book even accused Biden’s team of sabotaging her failed presidential campaign.

The book, titled “107 Days,” chronicles Harris’s disastrous 2024 presidential campaign and her final months as VP before President Donald Trump’s historic election victory.

In it, Harris claims Biden’s staff routinely left her isolated and failed to defend her against bad press.

Of course, Harris makes no mention of her own word salad public statements.

“They had a huge comms team; they had Karine Jean-Pierre briefing in the pressroom every day,” Harris wrote.

“But getting anything positive said about my work or any defense against untrue attacks was almost impossible.”

Harris also alleged she was deliberately saddled with the “border czar” role on illegal immigration.

She claims this role was designed to sink her politically.

However, the harm was caused by her lack of effort while supposedly serving as “border czar.”

Biden aides, according to Axios, “reacted with rage” to the excerpts, accusing Harris of scapegoating Biden instead of owning up to her own failures.

“Vice President Harris was simply not good at the job,” one former Biden White House official said.

“She had basically zero substantive role in any of the administration’s key work streams, and instead would just dive bomb in for stilted photo ops that exposed how out of depth she was.”

Another aide ridiculed Harris’s attempt to rewrite her indecision on Biden’s candidacy as courage:

“I’m not sure the very robust defense of not having the courage to speak up in the moment about Biden running is quite as persuasive as she thinks it is.

“If this is her attempt at political absolution: Lots of luck in your senior year.”

On her border assignment, the aide added:

“If she had spent a fraction of the time and energy doing the work that she did on complaining about how she was perceived, she would have been perceived a whole lot better.”

Not all Biden-world veterans were critical.

Former Chief of Staff Ron Klain said Harris did a “good job” as vice president.

One former aide also admitted relief that Harris had finally spoken out.

“We all know that the Biden folks treated her and her team like s**t,” the aide told Axios.

“We never thought she would actually say anything.

“The staffers across a range of ages and positions that I’m talking to are proud of her.”

The sharp exchanges underscore the deep fractures still plaguing Democrats in the aftermath of Biden’s presidency and Harris’s collapse as his successor.

Harris’s memoir is scheduled to be released ahead of the 2026 midterm cycle.

It will serve as a reminder of the bitter internal disputes that continue to haunt a party still searching for a post-Biden identity.
