Biden Delivers First Speech After Presidency – Corporate Media Blackout

Former President Joe Biden recently delivered his first public speech since leaving the White House.

However, most Americans would likely be completely unaware of the speech as the event was largely ignored by the corporate media.

Biden spoke at the National High School Model United Nations (NHSMUN) in New York City.

He addressed students participating in the annual academic conference.

Yet, the speech received no corporate media coverage.

Since departing the White House in January, Biden appears to have vanished from the public eye.

Aside from a pre-recorded video for the Democratic National Committee’s winter meeting, the NHSMUN speech marked his first live address.

“As I look across the room, you are the reason why I remain optimistic about our future,” Biden told the group of high school delegates in attendance.

“Your vision. Your commitment. Your engagement.”

Despite being billed as a significant event, Biden’s speech was not covered by any major news outlets.

No broadcast networks aired the address, and no mainstream political reporting followed the event.

The corporate media blackout has drawn scrutiny, particularly given Biden’s past claims of popularity and electoral support.

In 2020, Biden supposedly secured over 80 million votes in the presidential election — the most votes ever recorded for a U.S. presidential candidate.

Yet, his first public appearance since leaving the presidency failed to generate any visible public interest or media buzz.

Observers who attended the NHSMUN event described the atmosphere as subdued.

Biden delivered his remarks in a low, measured tone.

His delivery prompted comparisons to campaign events during the 2024 election cycle, where attendees frequently commented on the lack of energy in the room.

“I feel like I’m at a wake,” one person said last year after attending a Biden event in the final months of his 2024 presidential run.

Biden eventually withdrew from the 2024 campaign, citing personal and political considerations.

It came after a series of low-energy appearances and lackluster public engagements that highlighted his mental and physical decline.

The NHSMUN event was held in New York City and brought together thousands of high school students from across the country to simulate international diplomacy and debate global policy issues.

Biden’s remarks were intended to inspire civic engagement and leadership among students, though the address failed to draw national media attention.

Biden’s post-presidency visibility has been minimal.

He has spent most of his time in Delaware, with limited public messaging or appearances since stepping down.

His brief virtual appearance at the DNC winter meeting was pre-recorded and did not include interaction with party members or live questions.

The absence of press coverage surrounding the NHSMUN speech raised questions about Biden’s future public role and the level of interest in his post-presidency activities.

At the time of publication, Biden’s office had not issued any formal statement regarding the lack of coverage or public attention following his address.

The Democratic Party has also not commented on Biden’s future political involvement or public presence.

The event concluded without fanfare, and Biden returned to Delaware following his appearance.
