Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates was humiliated while giving a talk at George Washington University when he was interrupted and confronted by an aggressive group of climate protesters.
During his appearance at the Washington D.C. college, Gates was disrupted by members of the activist group “Climate Defiance.”
However, the activists didn’t support Gates, who claims to be fighting “global warming.”
The climate protesters interrupted the billionaire’s talk by shouting “Bill Gates is not a climate hero.”
Footage posted by the group shows protesters yelling at Gates and accusing him of “fueling the climate emergency” with his fleet of “private jets.”
Interrupting Gates’s talk, one of them shouted:
“The top 1 percent emit more than the bottom 50 percent worldwide.
“Billionaires are the problem.”
“Fossil fuel-powered AI is destroying our planet, we cannot afford it,” the protester also shouts in the video.

The protesters were later removed by authorities.
The group shared the video on social media along with the caption:
“We disrupted billionaire Bill Gates last night at George Washington University.
“Humanity is in crisis.
“We do not have time for the ultra-wealthy to run amok on their private jets, fueling the climate emergency.
“We must demand change. Join us.”
According to the event’s description, Gates was at George Washington University to discuss his new memoir, Source Code, with journalist Savannah Guthrie.
Gates claims he is one of the biggest supporters of fighting “climate change.”
However, his use of private jets has led to accusations of hypocrisy.
Despite his efforts to fund “carbon-cutting” technologies and promote the globalist green agenda, Gates admits his “carbon footprint” is enormous.
His frequent private jet habits are a big reason.
Gates owns a fleet of private aircraft worth an estimated $194 million.
His fleet includes two Gulfstream G650ERs, which cost $70 million each, and two Bombardier Challenger 350s, valued at $27 million.
According to Simple Flying, Gates also owns a Cessna Caravan seaplane and two helicopters registered under his company, MENTE LLC.
During an interview in 2023, Gates defended his private jet use by arguing that he’s “the solution” to ending “global warming.”
Gates recently made news for criticizing Elon Musk’s recommendation that the Trump administration shutter the corrupt United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
He accused Musk of potentially causing “millions of deaths” by exposing widespread corruption, fraud, and abuse of taxpayer funds at USAID.
However, as Slay News reported, a paper trail shows that Gates, along with George Soros’ organizations and the World Economic Forum (WEF), received huge sums of taxpayer funding from USAID to advance the globalist agenda.
