All six suspects involved in the violent Cincinnati mob attack were indicted on Friday.
The attackers are now facing additional charges for their violent actions, WLWT-TV reported.
Each of the suspects has been hit with eight charges, including three counts of felonious assault, three counts of assault, and two counts of aggravated riot.
The charges carry the potential for up to 29.5 years in prison if they are convicted on all counts.
The charges come after a brutal attack that was captured on video, showing a woman named Holly being assaulted by multiple individuals during a mob brawl.
The attack, which occurred on a street in Cincinnati, has sparked outrage, and local officials are working to hold those responsible accountable.
“What I saw on video is not the Cincinnati I know and love,” said Hamilton County Prosecutor Connie Pillich when announcing the indictments.
“These charges hold those involved in the attack accountable.”
The attack, which occurred in broad daylight, was documented in disturbing cellphone video.
In the footage, Holly, wearing a blue dress, can be seen attempting to intervene on behalf of a man who was being beaten.
However, instead of receiving help, she was violently struck from behind by a woman and then punched in the face by a man, causing her to fall to the ground.
The video shows Holly lying motionless after the blow, with bystanders rushing to assist her.
Republican U.S. Senator Bernie Moreno from Ohio shared shocking images of Holly’s battered face, showing her severe black eye and bruising.
“This is Holly,” Moreno wrote on X.
“She wanted to have a nice evening out with friends. Instead, she got this.”
Vivek Ramaswamy, a candidate for Ohio governor, also shared a close-up image of Holly’s injuries, highlighting the brutal nature of the attack.
Holly later recorded a tearful message expressing her gratitude for the support she had received from the community.

While the NAACP expressed concern over the charges being brought against the participants in the fight, calling for a thorough investigation, it also stressed that the focus should remain on the individuals who instigated the violence.
“It appears that a lot of bad decisions were made by various people,” said the NAACP, calling for a full investigation into the incident.
The organization also raised concerns about how the video footage was being used to identify participants, emphasizing that the individual who initiated the conflict should also face consequences.
“The community needs to have an answer regarding the lack of charges,” the NAACP added.
In response to the attack, Cincinnati Mayor Aftab Pureval announced on Friday that the male suspect, who appeared to be the one who initially struck Holly, is “actively being investigated.”
Local authorities are continuing to pursue justice for the victims of this senseless violence.
The brutal mob attack has led to calls for stronger law enforcement responses and a commitment to ensuring that violent criminals are held accountable for their actions.
As the investigation continues, the community remains focused on achieving justice for Holly and sending a message that such violent behavior will not be tolerated.
