British comedian Ricky Gervais has gone viral on social media after posting a video that mocks “woke” virtue-signaling celebrities.
The 62-year-old shared some clips on his X account impersonating social media stars who wade into politics.
In black-and-white clips, Gervais appears to be in a bath.
He pokes fun at social media “influencers” who try to promote popular political views to their audiences that they rarely understand themselves.
In one clip posted on Sunday, he stated:
“Hi guys, Ricky G here, wellness and beauty influencer.
“As a celebrity, I know all about stuff, like science and politics.
“So trust me when I tell you who you should vote for.
“If you don’t vote the right way, it’s like a hate crime, it makes me sad and angry, and I’ll leave the country – you don’t want that.”

Another clip posted on Tuesday also left X followers in hysterics as he remarked:
“Hi guys, Ricky G here, wellness and beauty influencer.
“Also, poet, that way if I don’t make any money from it, I can say it’s because I’m a true artist.”
Reading a “poem,” he stated:
“Be kind… Don’t dehumanize by punching down like a fascist clown.
“Be more like me, sad but free from the rest and success.”
Fans flooded the comments section to applaud Gervais, with one commenting:
“Eat your heart out Kardashians – this is how you do it Brit style!!”
“Best comedian on the planet, right there,” a second remarked.
Another added: “The 3-second stare at the end was brilliant.”
“You are a national treasure fine sir!” another enthused.
In 2020, Gervais made global headlines when he destroyed Hollywood elites while hosting the Golden Globes.
At the annual ceremony at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, Gervais ended his monologue by telling the limousine liberals:
“If you do win an award tonight, don’t use it as a political platform to make a political speech.
“You’re in no position to lecture the public about anything, you know nothing about the real world.
“Most of you spent less time in school than Greta Thunberg.
“So, if you win, come up, accept your little award, thank your agent and your God, and f*ck off. OK?”
