President Donald Trump is facing pushback from the opposition to his decisive military strikes on three Iranian nuclear facilities on Saturday night.
In a bold show of strength and precision, Trump ordered successful strikes on three of Iran’s most dangerous nuclear sites.
The move sends a message loud and clear: America will not sit idly by while our enemies build bombs.
“A full payload of BOMBS was dropped on the primary site, Fordow,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
“All planes are safely on their way home.
“Congratulations to our great American Warriors.
“NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE.”
But as usual, the D.C. establishment is furious, but not at Iran, at Trump.
Within hours of the strikes, Democrats and a handful of isolationist Republicans rushed to criticize the president.
Yet, the pushback is not because the mission failed (it didn’t), but because he didn’t wait for their “permission.”
“This is not constitutional,” Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) complained.
Massie, who’s known more for bucking MAGA priorities than supporting them, teamed up with far-left Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) to co-sponsor a War Powers Resolution that seeks to block further military action against Iran unless Congress signs off first.
“We need to immediately return to DC and vote on our resolution,” Khanna demanded.
“Trump struck Iran without any authorization of Congress.”
In other words, while Trump was eliminating nuclear threats, Congress was busy complaining that lawmakers weren’t consulted.
Massie and Khanna aren’t alone, however.
The usual suspects, including AOC, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, and Pramila Jayapal, all lined up to attack Trump.
They are accusing the president of dragging America into another “Middle East war.”
I look forward to supporting this War Powers Resolution. The American people aren't falling for it again. We were lied to about "weapons of mass destruction" in Iraq that killed millions + forever changed lives.
It's unconst'l for Trump to go to war without a vote in Congress. https://t.co/PJbtMtfwda

Even Sen. Tim Kaine (D-VA), Hillary Clinton’s old running mate, dusted off a tired war powers bill of his own.
Kaine claims the American people “overwhelmingly oppose” action against Iran.
But the American people also overwhelmingly oppose letting Iran develop nukes in secret bunkers, and Trump knows it.
While the Left claims Trump is reckless, his actions tell a different story: A calculated, limited strike to neutralize nuclear threats and avoid a broader war.
Sources confirmed that both House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) and Senate GOP Leader John Thune (R-SD) were briefed ahead of time.
This wasn’t a spontaneous move, either; it was a strategic decision based on credible intelligence and real-time threats.
“There is not another military in the World that could have done this,” Trump declared.
“NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE.”
Compare that with Biden’s blunders in Afghanistan or Obama’s cash drop in Iran, and it becomes clear: This is what leadership looks like.
Meanwhile, some America First voices like Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) expressed concerns about dragging the U.S. into another war, but made clear where their priorities lie.
“Americans want an affordable cost of living, safe communities, and quality education—not another foreign war,” she said.
Americans want cheap gas, groceries, bills, and housing.
They want affordable insurance, safe communities, and good education for their children.
They want a government that works on these issues.
Considering Americans pay for the entire government and government salaries…

And she’s right. That’s why Trump’s move was limited, targeted, and effective.
It sent a message without putting boots on the ground or falling into another nation-building quagmire.
In a separate post, Greene noted the hypocrisy of Trump’s critics who previously backed the Biden administration’s proxy war with Russia in Ukraine.
Shut up you pathetic little hypocrite.
YOU fully supported our military and IC running the proxy war against Russia in Ukraine.
And you VOTED to fund the Ukraine war under your President with dementia.
You don’t get to play anti-war and moral outrage anymore. https://t.co/v1xor2ARpa

Despite opposition to Trump’s move, Iran’s regime is the leading state sponsor of terror and has spent years lying about its nuclear program.
Even Israel, America’s closest ally in the region, launched strikes last week, warning the Iranian threat had reached a boiling point.
Trump simply followed through where others hesitated, and the mission was a success.
Meanwhile, Iran’s mouthpieces are crying foul at the United Nations.
The Islamic regime is claiming it is only enriching weapons-grade uranium for “peaceful purposes.”
That’s the same line they’ve used for years, right up until Saturday night.
While Trump took bold action to defend American interests and prevent nuclear catastrophe, career politicians and Beltway bureaucrats are more worried about their committees and process games.
The War Powers Resolution crowd wants to tie Trump’s hands while Iran builds bombs.
But real leadership doesn’t ask permission to protect America.
Trump acted. America won. And peace is now possible.
