David Hogg Praises Far-Left Rep Jasmine Crockett as ‘Type of Leader’ Democrats Need: ‘She Is Amazing!’

Democratic National Committee Vice Chair David Hogg has declared that far-left Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) is the “kind of leader” his party needs.

While gushing over the congresswoman, who is often mocked for her bizarre statements, Hogg asserted that Crocket “is amazing.”

“I love her,” Hogg added.

Hogg fawned over Crockett during an interview on the liberal radio show “The Breakfast Club.”

Host Charlamagne Tha God requested Hogg’s thoughts on Crockett, one of the most controversial members of the House of Representatives.

Hogg responded by praising the congresswoman, saying she delivers the “authenticity” that Americans desire.

Amazingly, however, Hogg made the statements with a straight face.

“Jasmine Crockett — I love her. She is amazing,” Hogg said.

“I think that people want to see somebody who fights and calls out the bullsh*t, ultimately.

“I think that’s what Jasmine does,” he alleged.

“And we need a hell of a lot more people that are out there that are willing to do just that and call people out on their BS and not say, ‘Oh my God, Republicans are going to criticize me for saying this.’

“Screw that. They’re going to criticize you no matter what.

“So what we should be asking ourselves is, what are we really fighting for?

“Because we know it matters.”

Hogg didn’t clarify what he believes Crockett is “fighting for,” however.

“And I think Jasmine is, frankly, the type of leader that we’re really looking to support in some sense, right?” he continued.

“Somebody who is out there that frankly doesn’t give a damn what the other side  — at least the elected Republicans in Congress — say.

“That say what they believe in and at least, you know, even if you don’t agree with her, you know what she stands for, because she makes it very clear.

“And people are really craving that right now,” he claimed.

“They don’t want more politicians that say talking points that it doesn’t even feel like they believe, or you don’t even really know what they mean.

“They want somebody who’s out there that says what they believe and doesn’t care what somebody else thinks about it.

“They want that authenticity.”

WATCH:

While Hogg failed to clarify what he claims Crockett “stands for,” the radical congresswoman frequently provokes outrage with her statements.

She rapidly surged to prominence with her racially-charged tirades and inflammatory anti-Republican attacks.

Crockett recently triggered a backlash by mocking Texas Gov. Greg Abbott for using a wheelchair.

She referred to Abbott as “Governor Hot Wheels.”

President Donald Trump slammed Crockett over the remarks.

“She’s a lowlife, and she’s a very low-IQ person,” Trump said.

Crockett is a member of the Congressional Progressive Caucus.

NewsNation political contributor Chris Cillizza asserted in April that Crockett would be a disastrous Democrat presidential nominee due to her far-left policies and tone.

“Jasmine Crockett is great if you’re a Democratic activist type,” Cillizza said.

“Fine, she’s saying everything you wanna hear.

“The problem is Democratic activists alone don’t win you the presidency or even come close.”

During a March interview with “Lone Star Politics,” Crockett also admitted that she was prioritizing opposing Trump over passing legislation in Congress.

The reality is that Democrats like Hogg and Crockett are a gift to the Republicans.
