Democrat Operative Arrested for Horrific Crimes Against Children

A longtime Democratic Party operative in Virginia has been arrested and charged with disturbing crimes against children, federal prosecutors have announced.

Randon Alexander Sprinkle of Henrico County was charged with distributing child pornography, marking a serious criminal case involving a figure with deep ties to state and local Democrat campaigns.

Sprinkle was taken into federal custody following an FBI investigation that began in May 2025, according to a criminal complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.

The charges stem from online conversations with a “child” on the dating app Jack’d, which later moved to Telegram.

However, Sprinkile was actually grooming an undercover FBI agent who was posing as a minor.

According to a nine-page FBI affidavit, Sprinkle, under the username “Randy,” asked the undercover agent if he wanted to continue talking on Telegram, where he allegedly wrote:

“[I’m] mostly into young, rape, incest – you?”

Investigators said they were able to identify him through subsequent communications.

On October 16, federal agents executed a search warrant at Sprinkle’s home.

A forensic review of his electronic devices revealed two archived child pornography files, including a 16-second video showing an adult male sexually assaulting an infant.

Investigators extracted 68 files in total, many with titles indicating sexual content involving minors.

The affidavit suggests evidence of distribution via peer-to-peer networks.

Sprinkle was arrested after the search and is being held at the Northern Neck Regional Jail in Warsaw, Virginia.

He faces one federal count of distributing child pornography, a charge carrying a mandatory minimum of five years in prison and up to 20 years if convicted.

Sprinkle has held multiple positions within Democrat political circles.

Those roles include serving as finance chairman for the Democratic Party of Virginia and treasurer for the Metro Richmond Area Young Democrats.

He also worked in campaign roles for several elected officials.

Democrat officials who previously employed or worked with him issued statements expressing shock.

“What has been alleged is disgusting and abhorrent. I’m shocked and sickened,” said Richmond City Council Vice President Katherine Jordan, noting Sprinkle served as her campaign treasurer in 2024.

First District Council member Andrew Breton, who used Sprinkle for campaign finance and event support, said:

“The allegations are shocking and disturbing.

“I am grateful that law enforcement is involved, and that justice is taking its course.”

A spokesman for U.S. Rep. Jennifer McClellan (D-VA) said the congresswoman is “shocked by these appalling accusations, which should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”

Sprinkle previously served as McClellan’s regional political director during her 2021 gubernatorial campaign.

The two also appeared together in political posts as recently as October 2024.

Federal proceedings are ongoing, and Sprinkle is expected to remain in custody pending future court appearances.
