Democrats are being mocked on social media after appearing to snub Bill Clinton from the party’s official Presidents’ Day tribute.
Commenters were quick to point out that Clinton was absent from the post despite his status as one of the most popular Democrat leaders of the modern era.
The “Happy Presidents’ Day” image shared by the Democratic Party featured Presidents John F. Kennedy, Lyndon Johnson, Jimmy Carter, Franklin Roosevelt, Barack Obama, and Joe Biden.
Clinton, the former Arkansas governor and 42nd president, was not included.
The only Democrat presidents missing between Franklin Roosevelt and Joe Biden were Clinton and Harry Truman.

The omission quickly drew attention from Republicans online.
The Republican National Committee (RNC) responded by reposting the Democrats’ message alongside an image of Clinton seated next to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, adding the caption:

The Democratic National Committee has not clarified whether the exclusion was intentional.
Republicans Highlight Their Own Tribute
Republicans marked Presidents’ Day with their own imagery, posting a Mount Rushmore graphic that included a color image of President Donald Trump positioned beside President Abraham Lincoln on the South Dakota monument.

Their account also shared a message from the Department of Health and Human Services, which stated:
“This Presidents’ Day, we honor the leaders who shaped our nation and reaffirm our commitment to serving the health and well-being of every American.”
HHS paired the message with a composite image featuring Presidents Trump, Lincoln, and George Washington.

Clinton’s Legacy and Past Controversies
Clinton remains one of the most politically influential Democrat presidents in recent decades.
However, his presidency was also marked by high-profile investigations and scandals.
Independent counsel Kenneth Starr investigated Clinton over his connections to the failed Whitewater land deal dating back to Clinton’s time as Arkansas attorney general.
Clinton was never charged with wrongdoing, but business partners Jim and Susan McDougal were convicted, as was Arkansas Gov. Jim Guy Tucker, Clinton’s successor.
Hillary Clinton had previously worked for the law firm representing Jim McDougal’s bank.
The Whitewater probe ultimately led to the Monica Lewinsky scandal involving allegations that Clinton had a sexual relationship with a White House intern.
During a January 26, 1998, press conference, Clinton denied the allegations, stating:
“I did not have sexual relations with that woman.”
He added:
“I never told anybody to lie, not a single time. Never.
“These allegations are false.
“And I need to go back to work for the American people.”
Jeffrey Epstein Links
In recent years, Clinton has been at the center of an escalating scandal over his ties to child sex trafficker and convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
Bill and Hillary Clinton are scheduled to testify before Congress regarding their relationship with Epstein.
Silence from Democrats Fuels Questions
With no explanation offered for Clinton’s absence from the Presidents’ Day tribute, the episode has fueled renewed scrutiny over how Democrats publicly frame their own political history.
For Republicans, the omission provided an opening to highlight internal tensions within the Democratic Party, while underscoring Clinton’s complicated legacy in American politics.
