A Democratic National Committee (DNC) official has revealed that the Democrats have been left with the “stench of losers” after Kamala Harris’s crushing election defeat.
DNC National Finance Committee member Lindy Li said during an interview on “Fox and Friends Weekend” that Harris’s failed presidential election bid is impacting the entire party.
When asked why she believes Big Tech companies are moving toward President Donald Trump, Li noted that members of her party are poisonous to business.
“Unfortunately, the Democratic Party has the stench of losers written all over the party,” Li told guest co-host Kevin Corke.
“And I’m sorry, I’m speaking as a Democrat myself.
“It brings me no joy to say it,” she admitted.
“But I feel like Democrats are going to be consigned to the wilderness for at least the next four to eight years.”
It comes after Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg donated $1 million to Trump’s inaugural fund.
Amazon executive chairman Jeff Bezos soon followed suit.
Bezos also plans to pour the same amount into Trump’s second inauguration.
The Amazon founder also promised to stream the event on the company’s Prime Video platform.
OpenAI CEO Sam Altman also plans to donate $1 million to the president-elect’s inaugural fund.
Bezos and Google CEO Sundar Pichai have plans to meet with Trump.
Zuckerberg met with Trump in late November.
Li said Bezos is likely “thanking his lucky stars” that he withheld The Washington Post’s endorsement of Harris.
“They’re doing everything they can now to continue détente,” Li said.
“Remember what Zuckerberg said on July 13 when, in Butler, Pennsylvania, the assassination attempt.
“He praised President Trump for being a badass.”
Corke asked the DNC official what she expects will happen as Trump’s former adversaries “kiss the ring.”
“I think they’re going to solidify the relationship between the business world and President Trump,” she repsonded.
Li noted that Americans are “ailing” under the Biden-Harris administration’s economy.
The DNC official said people are “dying for a change.”
Referencing celebrations of Trump’s win and the president-elect’s approval rate surging, Li said:
“I think we’re about to embark on an entirely new era of prosperity.”
