Nearly 25 years after the September 11 attacks, a chilling new investigation is reviving unanswered questions about what the government may still be hiding.
A documentary produced by TMZ suggests that authorities may have buried evidence of a fifth hijacked aircraft on 9/11.
The evidence presented in the film is described as “absolutely chilling” by BlazeTV host Liz Wheeler.
September 11, 2001, is remembered as the deadliest terrorist attack in American history, officially involving four commercial planes hijacked by al-Qaeda.
But the TMZ investigation challenges that narrative, pointing to disturbing evidence surrounding United Flight 23, a plane that was grounded in New York as the attacks unfolded.
Wheeler said the documentary sent “chills up and down” her arms.
“I watched the creepiest documentary recently — absolute chills,” she said.
“And it was actually done by TMZ, believe it or not.
“It’s real investigative journalism about 9/11.”
According to the investigation, Flight 23 may have been targeted as an additional weapon, and authorities may have discovered this after the fact.
“What if I presented evidence to you that there was actually another plane that was supposed to be hijacked too?” Wheeler asked.
“And not only that — the government and the airlines knew about it afterward.
“And to this day, they’re covering it up.”
Disturbing Passenger Behavior
The documentary relies heavily on firsthand testimony from flight attendants who were aboard United Flight 23 that morning.
One passenger immediately raised red flags, warning that a person wearing a full burka, not a hijab, with only eye slits visible, was acting suspiciously.
Flight attendants said the individual appeared to have hairy hands, leading them to strongly believe the person was actually a man in disguise.
Sitting beside the individual was another man described as a “bodyguard,” who was reportedly sweating profusely throughout the pre-flight period.
But that wasn’t all.
Flight attendants recalled four Middle Eastern passengers in first class, including a man in a tan suit who repeatedly attempted to peer into the cockpit, allegedly using his child as an excuse.
The group reportedly pressured the flight crew to skip routine delays, including food service, and demanded the plane depart immediately.
A Chilling Question
After news broke that planes had already struck the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, grounding all flights, one of these passengers asked a question that stunned the crew:
“Did they get the White House?”
Flight 23 was eventually evacuated as the airport shut down.
But the story takes an even darker turn.
Roughly 20 minutes after the aircraft had been locked and cleared, witnesses noticed people back on board the plane.
Investigators later discovered that access hatches had been reopened.
“So what does that mean?” Wheeler asked.
“Did someone re-enter the aircraft to remove evidence? Weapons?”
That question may not be hypothetical.
A Weapon, and a Wall of Silence
According to the documentary, a weapon planted on an aircraft was later discovered at JFK Airport.
When TMZ attempted to follow up, including filing a Freedom of Information Act request, they were met with silence.
No answers. No documents. No cooperation.
Even more alarming: the 9/11 Commission never interviewed the pilot of United Flight 23.
“How can you not think this is a government cover-up?” Wheeler asked.
“They didn’t even talk to the pilot.”
