Elon Musk Joins Netflix Boycott After TV Show Creator Smears Charlie Kirk as a ‘Random Nazi’

Tesla CEO Elon Musk revealed that he has joined other social media users in canceling his Netflix subscription after the creator of a children’s series celebrated the assassination of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk.

Hamish Steele, creator of the animated Netflix show “Dead End: Paranormal Park,” smeared Kirk as a “random Nazi.”

Steele was already under scrutiny for promoting transgender themes in programming marketed to children.

But the controversy exploded after screenshots of Steele’s social media post appeared to mock British Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s statement condemning Kirk’s murder.

According to the screenshots, Steele replied:

“Our sympathy for any of the families being slaughtered by your own weapons but a random Nazi gets shot and it’s a public statement.”

Steele has since locked his account.

Musk’s Boycott

The backlash quickly reached Musk.

One X user posted a screenshot showing they had cancelled their Netflix account, writing:

“If you employ someone who celebrated the murder of Charlie Kirk and makes content that pushes pro-trans content on my kids… you will NEVER get a dime of my money.”

Musk reshared the post with a one-word caption: “Same.”

The billionaire later amplified another post calling out the transgender themes in Steele’s show, writing simply: “This is not ok.”

His announcement gained significant traction online, with thousands of users praising his boycott and pledging to follow suit.

Condemning the Left

Musk also blasted Democrats and left-wing activists in the days following Kirk’s assassination, accusing them of openly celebrating political violence.

“The Left is the party of murder,” Musk wrote on X, after liberal users on rival platform Bluesky reportedly cheered Kirk’s killing.

Initially expressing hope that Kirk might survive his injuries, Musk grew sharper as details emerged, pointing to a broader pattern of politically motivated violence.

“They are celebrating cold-blooded murder,” he wrote in one reply.

“Shows what we’re dealing with. Evil people.”

“The Left lectured us for the last decade about the dangers of violence from the Right,” Musk added in another post.

“From the assassination attempts of President Trump to Brian Thompson, the United Healthcare CEO, being murdered. Now to Charlie Kirk.

“The danger was actually on the Left.”

The Kirk Assassination

Kirk was publicly assassinated on September 10 while speaking at a rally at Utah Valley University.

He was shot in the neck and rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery, but later succumbed to his injuries.

His alleged killer, 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, surrendered to authorities two days later and now faces aggravated murder charges.

Prosecutors have announced plans to seek the death penalty.

Investigators say Robinson left a note for his transgender boyfriend before the attack, declaring his intent to kill Kirk, and text messages later recovered allegedly stated:

“I had enough of his hatred.”

Robinson remains in custody at the Utah County Jail in Spanish Fork.

His next court hearing is scheduled for October 30.
