Twitter/X boss Elon Musk has shared a video of himself shooting a gun on social media and declared that he has “an arsenal of weapons.”
The video quickly went viral, racking up millions of views in just a few hours.
“I have an arsenal of weapons, most of which I bought in California before they changed the law to make it impossible to do so,” Musk posted.
“I’ve hip-fired a 50 cal while walking.
“Might have the video somewhere.”
Just for the record, my boots are 20 years old and my hat is ten years old.

Musk then followed up with the video he mentioned.
“Hip-firing my Barrett 50 cal,” Musk wrote on X when sharing the video that features slow-motion footage of him shooting the weapon.
The slow-motion footage is followed by a brief segment that appears to play at regular speed as Musk fires off a few more rounds.

The National Rifle Association (NRA) also shared Musk’s post.
“SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED!” the pro-Second Amendment group wrote along with an American flag emoji.

Many were quick to point out that Musk’s video will likely trigger a collective meltdown from the anti-gun Left.

Musk has previously indicated that he supports the Second Amendment.
“I strongly believe that the right to bear arms is an important safeguard against potential tyranny of government,” Musk said in an email to CNBC last year.
“Historically, maintaining their power over the people is why those in power did not allow public ownership of guns.”
On Thursday, Musk visited Eagle Pass, Texas drawing attention to Democrat President Joe Biden’s illegal migrant crisis at America’s Southern Border.
“Why do so many American politicians from both parties care 100 times more about the Ukraine border than the USA border?” Musk has tweeted.
“Illegal immigration needs to stop, but I’m super in favor of greatly expanding and simplifying legal immigration,” he also posted.
“Anyone who proves themself to be hard-working, talented and honest should be allowed to become an American. Period.”
