Eric Holder Accuses ‘Dictator’ Trump of Trying to ‘Re-Segregate America’

Former Obama-era Attorney General Eric Holder has accused President Donald Trump of leading America as a “dictator” and attempting to “re-segregate” the United States.

Holder, a longtime ally of former President Barack Obama, made the wild claims during a Martin Luther King Jr. Day speech meltdown.

He sharply criticized federal law enforcement and the presence of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents in American communities.

“We are experiencing unprecedented mid-decade gerrymandering attempts to disproportionately disenfranchise black and brown voters as the president desperately clings to power like an insecure dictator,” Holder said Monday.

“There is a concerted effort to re-segregate America.”

Holder delivered the remarks in Washington, D.C., at the Annual MLK Day Legislative Breakfast.

At the event, he was joined on stage by civil rights grifter Al Sharpton.

Holder Claims “Gestapo Tactics” by ICE

During his speech, Holder escalated his rhetoric by accusing the administration of weaponizing federal law enforcement.

“We are witnessing the weaponization of the Department of Justice by the president and his lackeys to silence his critics and to intimidate voters,” he said.

“We are observing Gestapo tactics by federal immigration law enforcement in Minnesota as well as around the country.”

Holder then invoked the name of Renee Nicole Good, the Minneapolis woman killed earlier this month when she rammed an agent with her vehicle during an ICE operation.

“You all remember the name Renee Good,” he said.

“And you say her name, you say her name.”

Federal officials have stated that Good attempted to use her vehicle as a weapon against an ICE agent, prompting the officer to open fire in self-defense.

Democrats and immigration activists, however, have deceitfully labeled her death a “murder,” fueling weeks of protests in Minneapolis and other cities.

Rhetoric Intensifies amid Minnesota Unrest

Democrats nationwide have increasingly condemned the Trump administration’s deportation efforts over the past year, accusing ICE and other federal officers of “terrorizing” communities.

That rhetoric intensified following Good’s death, which came as federal authorities surged into Minnesota amid a massive fraud investigation.

Federal prosecutors have charged dozens of individuals, many from Minnesota’s Somali community, in connection with alleged schemes involving false claims for federal reimbursements.

Authorities estimate the fraud totals at least $1 billion.

Days after Good’s death, protests escalated across the Twin Cities, including incidents in which agitators disrupted worship services at a Minneapolis-area church.

“There is no low these radical leftists won’t stoop to,” White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson said in a statement responding to the church attacks.

“Jacob Frey and Tim Walz have whipped these rioters into a frenzy and turned them loose to wreak havoc on Minneapolis.”

“Frey and Walz should be ashamed for inciting such chaos, but the Trump Administration will continue enforcing the law,” she added.

Holder’s Role in Walz Vetting Resurfaces

Minnesota’s fraud scandal has also reshaped the state’s political landscape.

Earlier this month, Minnesota’s Democrat Governor Tim Walz announced he would not seek another term as questions mounted over oversight failures during his administration.

Walz acknowledged the fraud occurred on his watch but accused Republicans of “sensationalizing” the fallout.

Walz notably served as former Vice President Kamala Harris’s 2024 running mate.

Holder led the vetting process for Harris’s vice presidential contenders and publicly praised Walz during the campaign.

“There was nothing … of any substance that was missed by our vetting team,” Holder said at the time.

A source familiar with the vetting process later revealed that the Minnesota fraud investigation was discussed internally, as elements of the scheme had already surfaced during Walz’s 2022 re-election campaign.

“Governor Walz’s Department of Education had been in contact with the FBI regarding investigations into organizations diverting funds from child nutrition programs,” the source told Fox News.

“This issue was not a factor in the 2024 presidential campaign, nor did Kamala Harris’s vice presidential choice ultimately prove to be a negative factor in the race.”

As federal enforcement continues and political rhetoric escalates, Holder’s remarks underscore the widening divide between Democrats and the Trump administration over immigration, law enforcement, and accountability.
