Report: ‘Exotic Vehicle of Unknown Origin’ Secretly Stored at U.S Navy Base

A new report is fueling renewed speculation about the U.S. military’s alleged involvement in recovering and studying unidentified flying objects, claiming that a little-known U.S. Navy base on the East Coast has secretly stored an “exotic vehicle of unknown origin” for decades.

According to the report, Naval Air Station Patuxent River, commonly known as Pax River, has allegedly housed the mysterious craft since as early as the 1950s.

The base is located in Maryland and serves as the headquarters for Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR).

Long-Running Analysis of Non-Human Technology

The claims were made to Liberation Times by anonymous sources described as having ties to NAVAIR.

According to those sources, certain classified programs at Pax River have for years been involved in analyzing and exploiting technology allegedly recovered from non-human craft.

NAVAIR is responsible for the design, development, testing, acquisition, and maintenance of U.S. Navy and Marine Corps aircraft and aviation weapons systems, making Pax River one of the military’s most significant hubs for advanced and experimental aerospace research.

The sources further claimed that two types of aircraft have recently been attempting to observe activity near the base: Chinese drones and unidentified non-human objects.

They alleged that this surveillance activity has intensified and moved closer to land, including areas surrounding the Chesapeake Bay and the base itself.

Elizondo Testimony Cited in Support of Pax River Claims

While the claims could not be independently verified, they echo sworn congressional testimony from Luis Elizondo, a former senior Pentagon official and whistleblower.

In written testimony to Congress, Elizondo stated that a specially constructed hangar at Pax River was built specifically to facilitate the transfer of recovered extraterrestrial technology.

Under oath, he described a plan in which defense contractor Lockheed Martin would move non-human materials to Bigelow Aerospace for further analysis.

Bigelow Aerospace ceased operations in 2020 after laying off its entire workforce during the pandemic.

“Specifically, the PAX River hangar was designed to facilitate the transfer of future materials via air and river,” Elizondo testified.

Elizondo previously led the Pentagon’s Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP), which investigated unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAPs) to assess potential national security threats.

Contingency Plans and Reverse-Engineered Technology

According to the sources, the U.S. government allegedly maintains a contingency plan to relocate the unidentified craft if its presence at Pax River becomes publicly known or if foreign surveillance increases.

They also suggested that some advanced drone or aircraft activity observed near the base may involve technology derived from reverse-engineered exotic materials.

However, no evidence was provided to substantiate the claim.

Notably, the sources claimed that although Elizondo described the hangar as operational, no transfers took place after a former CIA director of science and technology reportedly blocked private companies from gaining access to the materials.

Longstanding Dispute Over Physical Evidence

The U.S. military has consistently maintained that there is no physical evidence confirming the recovery of extraterrestrial spacecraft.

However, multiple former government officials and scientists have made contrary claims over the years.

In 2024, Elizondo testified to Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) that the U.S. government operates secret recovery programs for crashed spacecraft and has successfully reverse-engineered some of the technology.

Separately, physicist and engineer Hal Puthoff claimed on “The Joe Rogan Experience” that the U.S. military has recovered more than 10 spacecraft since the Roswell incident, some of which he alleged were fully intact.

Those claims, however, remain unverified.

Drone Sightings Add to the Mystery

The renewed attention on Pax River follows a wave of unexplained drone and UFO sightings over the East Coast in late 2024 and early 2025.

Hundreds of objects, described by witnesses as “car-sized drones,” were observed over military installations, residential areas, and even near President Donald Trump’s property in New Jersey.

While a private firm later claimed responsibility for the drone activity during off-the-record comments at an Army summit in August 2025, the nature of the technology, its capabilities, and its true purpose remain unclear.

As with many UFO-related claims, the allegations surrounding Pax River sit at the intersection of sworn testimony, anonymous sourcing, and longstanding government denials, leaving more questions than answers.
