Explosive Devices Found at Tesla Dealership in Austin

Authorities in Texas have found explosive devices at a Tesla dealership in Austin, according to reports.

The incendiary devices were discovered on Monday morning, authorities said.

The alarming discovery is the latest in widespread acts of violence targeting the electric carmaker and its CEO Elon Musk.

The Austin Police Department (APD) said the bomb squad investigated and removed the devices without incident after they were discovered at the dealership along U.S. Highway 183.

Police did not provide details about the incendiary devices.

The APD said the investigation remains open and there is no further information available for release at this time.

The FBI was assisting Austin police at the dealership, according to CNBC News.

Tesla security has been spotlighted after nationwide incidents targeting dealerships, storage lots, charging stations, and even privately owned electric vehicles.

The attacks are in protest of Musk, who President Donald Trump tapped to lead the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

DOGE was tasked with slashing wasteful federal spending and fraudulent abuse of taxpayer money.

So far, DOGE has saved an estimated $115 billion, which equates to $714.29 for every taxpaying American.

Yet, despite the bipartisan work of DOGE to benefit all Americans, leftists have launched attacks against Tesla to protest Musk.

So far, three individuals have been charged in federal cases after using Molotov cocktails to attack Tesla properties around the country.

In a statement last Thursday, Attorney General Pam Bondi said:

“The days of committing crimes without consequence have ended.

“Let this be a warning: if you join this wave of domestic terrorism against Tesla properties, the Department of Justice will put you behind bars.”

Meanwhile, Musk has blamed Democrats for the attacks on his auto company, calling the incidents “coordinated.”

“It’s really come as a quite a shock to me that there is this level of real hatred and violence from the left,” Musk told Fox News’s Sean Hannity last week.

“I thought the left, you know, Democrats, were supposed to be a party of empathy, the party of caring.

“And yet they’re burning down cars.

“They’re firebombing dealerships.

“They’re firing bullets into dealerships.

“They’re just smashing up Teslas.”

Musk told Hannity that his attempts to cut government waste and fraud are the reason why certain people “want to kill me.”

“It turns out when you take away people’s, you know, the money that they’re receiving fraudulently, they get very upset,” he said.

“And they basically want to kill me because I’m stopping their fraud and they want to hurt Tesla because we’re stopping the terrible waste and corruption in the government.

“And, well, I guess they’re bad people.

“Bad people do bad things.”

“I think there are larger forces at work as well,” Musk added.

“I mean, who’s funding and who’s coordinating it?

“Because this is crazy. I’ve never seen anything like this.

“Tesla is a peaceful company, we’ve never done anything harmful,” he noted.

“I’ve never done anything harmful.

“I’ve only done productive things, so I think we just have a deranged… I think there’s some kind of mental illness going on here,” Musk said.
