A Florida sheriff didn’t mince his words while issuing a warning to violent leftist rioters planning to take part in the nationwide George Soros-funded “No Kings” riots this weekend.
Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey warned that any rioters who destroy property or attack police officers will pay for their actions with their lives.
During a Thursday press conference, Sheriff Ivey declared that he will not tolerate the violent acts of destruction or attacks against law enforcement recently seen in Los Angeles County.
“If somebody wants to know what I mean by ‘turn violent,’ all right, this is what I mean: if you resist lawful orders, you’re going to jail,” Ivey warned.
“Let me be very clear about that.
“If you block an intersection roadway in Brevard County, you are going to jail,” he continued.
“If you flee arrest, you’re going to go to jail tired, because we are going to run you down and put you in jail.
“If you try to mob rule a car in Brevard County—gathering around it, refusing to let the driver leave—in our county, you’re most likely going to get run over and dragged across the street.
“If you spit on us, you’re going to the hospital and then jail.
“If you hit one of us, you’re going to the hospital and jail, and most likely get bitten by one of our big, beautiful dogs that we have here.”
However, Ivey warned that leftists who put his deputies’ lives in danger will cross a line that they will never come back from.
“If you throw a brick, a fire bomb, or point a gun at one of our deputies, we will be notifying your family where to collect your remains at, because we will kill you, graveyard dead,” he warned.
“We’re not going to play.
“This has got to stop.”

The sheriff went on to declare that the property destruction, burning police cars, and officers under attack seen in Los Angeles over the past week would not play out in his county.
Standing behind a sign reading, “Florida: The Anti-Riot State,” Sheriff Ivey said:
“You’re watching what’s taking place out there.
“You’re seeing police officers that are being attacked, being spit on, being—being put in harm’s way just for doing their jobs.
“You’re seeing ICE agents that are being targeted for doing their jobs.
“And you’re seeing obstructionists that are doing all of this, standing in the way of law and order.”
The warnings from Ivey come after Florida’s Republican Governor Ron DeSantis also delivered some bad news for would-be rioters.

DeSantis is doubling down on common-sense protections for law-abiding citizens, reaffirming that Floridians have the right to flee violent street mobs — even if it means driving through protesters who threaten their safety.
In a candid appearance Wednesday on The Rubin Report, DeSantis addressed a key tenet of his law-and-order agenda: self-defense in the face of chaos.
“If you’re driving on one of those streets and a mob comes and surrounds your vehicle and threatens you,” DeSantis said, “you have a right to flee for your safety, and so if you drive off and you hit one of these people, that’s their fault for impinging on you.”
He didn’t mince words: Americans are not obligated to be helpless targets in their own cars.
“You don’t have to sit there and just be a sitting duck and let the mob grab you out of your car and drag you through the streets,” DeSantis added.
“You have a right to defend yourself in Florida.”
Zero Tolerance for Street Takeovers DeSantis made clear that mob rule has no place in the Sunshine State:
“These rioters have no right to commandeer streets,” he said.
“It’s just wrong and it impacts people’s lives.”
