Twice-failed Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has launched a fresh attack against President Donald Trump in an op-ed for the New York Times.
In the article published Friday by the left-wing newspaper, Clinton repeatedly slams Trump and his administration’s policies as “dumb.”
Clinton was responding to the corporate media’s “Signal chat scandal.”
The story has been dominating the legacy news cycle as Democrats and their allies scramble to attack the Trump administration.
The leftist “news” outlet The Atlantic has posted private messages from the Signal chat app between several top Trump officials.
The Atlantic’s anti-Trump Editor in Chief, Jeffrey Goldberg, who was mysteriously included in the chat, published texts from the conversation.
The Democrats and their allies claim the leak shows a severe national security breach.
However, Trump Cabinet members have maintained that no classified material was discussed in the forum.
Clinton was among those who pounced on the story.
The former secretary of state assailed Trump and his team as careless and stupid over the “scandal.”
“It’s not the hypocrisy that bothers me; it’s the stupidity,” Hillary wrote.
Clinton, who famously used a private email server for classified information, continued by declaring:
“We’re all shocked — shocked! — that President Trump and his team don’t actually care about protecting classified information or federal record retention laws.
“But we knew that already.
“What’s much worse is that top Trump administration officials put our troops in jeopardy by sharing military plans on a commercial messaging app and unwittingly invited a journalist into the chat.
“That’s dangerous. And it’s just dumb.”
Responding to The Atlantic’s story earlier this week, Clinton posted on X:
“You have got to be kidding me.”

Clinton’s use of a private email server at the State Department and accusations that she mishandled classified information dogged her unsuccessful 2016 presidential campaign.
Ever since she was crushed in the presidential race, she has dedicated her time to attacking the man who defeated her.
In the Times essay, Clinton boasted that she employed “smart” power as the first secretary of state under President Barack Obama.
“The Trump approach is dumb power,” Clinton wrote.
“Instead of a strong America using all our strengths to lead the world and confront our adversaries, Mr. Trump’s America will be increasingly blind and blundering, feeble and friendless.”
Among Clinton’s complaints were the Trump administration’s gutting of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), closing embassies and consulates, and layoffs within the government hitting intelligence agencies.
Clinton continued by pushing the claim that Trump’s team was unintelligent.
She called various Trump administration moves “not smart,” “dumb power,” “dumb,” and “dumb and dangerous.”
Hillary also contrasted the Trump administration’s government trimming initiative, the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), with her husband’s work in the 1990s.
“During the Clinton administration, my husband’s Reinventing Government initiative, led by Vice President Al Gore, worked with Congress to thoughtfully streamline bureaucracy, modernize the work force, and save billions of dollars,” she wrote.
“In many ways, it was the opposite of the Trump administration’s slash-and-burn approach.
“Today they are not reinventing government; they’re wrecking it.”
