Twice-failed Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is facing intense backlash after taking to social media to promote a new book that brands political opponents as “fascists.”
The divisive new book was written by far-left American Federation of Teachers (AFT) President Randi Weingarten.
On Wednesday, Clinton posted a photo on X of Weingarten holding her new release, “Why Fascists Fear Teachers.”
Hillary praised the union boss in a message captioning the image.
“Congratulations to my friend [Weingarten] on Why Fascists Fear Teachers,” Clinton wrote.
“From banning books to controlling curriculum, authoritarians go after public education because it’s a cornerstone of democracy.
“Randi’s new book is a critical read for this moment.”

The timing of her post drew sharp criticism.
It came just one week after conservative activist Charlie Kirk was assassinated by a far-left gunman whose shell casings were allegedly inscribed with the word “fascist.”
The backlash was so severe that Clinton blocked commenting on the post.
“It’s been one week since Charlie Kirk was murdered by a lunatic who wrote about ‘fascists’ on shell casings,” Republican strategist Matt Whitlock posted.
“Now, Randi Weingarten has a new book arguing everyone who disagrees with her views on public education – which have destroyed public education in America – is a fascist.”

Corey DeAngelis, senior fellow at the American Culture Project, called out Clinton directly:
“Hillary Clinton and Randi Weingarten are going full speed ahead with this disgusting rhetoric right after Charlie Kirk’s assassination. Sick people.”
Other conservative figures piled on.
“Charlie Kirk was murdered exactly one week ago. Here’s Hillary Clinton today,” Jack Posobiec wrote.
“They wrote an entire book on a word they don’t even understand,” Huntington Beach City Council member Andrew Gruel said.
“The room. That’s what y’all should read,” Washington Free Beacon reporter Chuck Ross added.
The Republican National Committee’s account also blasted Clinton’s post, writing:
“Democrats Hillary Clinton and Randi Weingarten are still suggesting Republicans are ‘fascists.’ They really can’t help themselves, can they?”
Clinton’s post has already drawn more than 2 million views on X.
The former Secretary of State has not responded to the backlash.
Weingarten, for her part, defended the book.
“Have they read the book?” she said in a statement.
“If they did, they’d discover it’s a love letter to teachers.”
The book, released Tuesday, portrays attacks on public schools as “a hallmark of fascist regimes.”
It also claims teachers are targeted because they “foster an educated and empowered population that can see past propaganda.”
Conservatives argue that rhetoric like Weingarten’s, echoed and amplified by prominent Democrats such as Clinton, has fueled a dangerous climate.
In the wake of Kirk’s assassination, critics say the Left’s casual use of labels like “Hitler” and “fascist” against Republicans has contributed to escalating violence.
