“Two and a Half Men” actor Jon Cryer has claimed that President Donald Trump is doing more harm to the United States than the terrorists behind the 9/11 attacks.
The Hollywood star attacked Trump in response to reports on the president’s efforts to eliminate excessive spending in the federal government.
However, according to the “Superman IV: The Quest for Peace” actor, Trump’s government cuts make him worse than Al Qaeda terrorists.
In a post on leftist social media platform Blue Sky, Cryer wrote:
“Donald Trump is attacking the United States more effectively than Al Quaeda [sic] ever could.”

Cryer’s remarks were triggered by a New York Times report on the Trump adminsitration’s plans to restructure the scientific research arm of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
The plan involves dismissing as many as 1,155 chemists, biologists, toxicologists, and other scientists.
This is not the first time Cryer has entered the political domain, however.
Last year, Cryer attempted to spin for Kamala Harris’s failed 2024 presidential campaign amid the fallout from former President Joe Biden’s disastrous insult to Trump supporters.
Cryer spoke out to claim that Biden misspoke when he called Trump supporters “garbage.”
“The only garbage I see floating out there is [Trump’s] supporters,” Biden said.
The “Supergirl” actor joined the Democrat clean-up crew following the catastrophic comments made by Biden in a virtual conversation with journalists.
“Biden misspoke, and quickly clarified his meaning,” Cryer wrote in an X post.
“But nice try, douchebags,” he later added.

The “Puerto Rico is an island of garbage” quote was rehearsed the night before, made it through the Trump campaign vetting and was spoken as the speaker intended.

The comments from Biden came just days before the November election.
While they didn’t sway the outcome of the election, they undoubtedly provoked panic among the Democrats.
