Ilhan Omar Plotting to Impeach Top Trump Officials Over ‘War Plans’

Radical Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) is reportedly making preparations to file articles of impeachment against several top officials in President Donald Trump’s administration.

Axios reported Thursday that Omar is plotting to impeach three top defense officials involved in the recent Signal chat leaks.

According to the report, Omar plans to target Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, National Security Advisor Michael Waltz, and Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) Director John Ratcliffe.

The scandal involved Waltz’s accidental addition of The Atlantic’s anti-Trump Editor-in-Chief Jeffery Goldberg to a group chat.

In the chat, officials were supposedly discussing detailed attack plans against Houthi rebels in Yemen.

Goldberg initially published the texts on Monday.

The far-left congresswoman has been pushing her impeachment plot to her Democrat colleagues in the House.

A senior House Democrat and another source familiar with the matter reportedly told Axios about Omar’s plan.

Omar is a member of the radical progressive group known as “The Squad.”

The group also includes Democrat Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Ayanna Pressley (D-MA), Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), and Cori Bush (D-MO).

Officials in Trump’s administration, including Hegseth and Waltz, officially deny that any “war plans” were discussed in the chat.

The denials prompted Goldberg to release the full logs in a second hit piece Wednesday.

The second report revealed how Hegseth laid out dates and times for certain future actions against the Houthis.

Goldberg said these plans came to fruition.

In a Tuesday post on X, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said:

“Thanks to the strong and decisive leadership of President Trump, and everyone in the group, the Houthi strikes were successful and effective.

“Terrorists were killed and that’s what matters most to President Trump.”

Waltz denied ever having met Goldberg in a Fox News interview on Tuesday.

He said Elon Musk provided the “best technical minds” to get to the bottom of how Goldberg was added.

In a Senate Intelligence Committee hearing Tuesday, Ratcliffe said Signal use was permitted for internal discussions.

He said the application came “loaded” on his computer at the CIA.
