Investigation Launched Into Epstein Files Allegations of Murdered Victims Buried at New Mexico Ranch

Officials have launched a sweeping new investigation into Jeffrey Epstein’s remote New Mexico compound after new allegations emerged in files released by the Department of Justice that suggested murdered victims may have been buried on land surrounding the property.

The probe into Epstein’s Zorro Ranch could expose some of the darkest allegations yet tied to the disgraced financier’s criminal network.

For years, public attention focused on Epstein’s “Pedophile Island” in the Caribbean and his seven-story “House of Horrors” townhouse in New York.

Now, scrutiny is shifting to his sprawling Zorro Ranch, located roughly 30 miles south of Santa Fe.

Disturbing claims revealed in newly uncovered emails suggest victims may have been murdered and buried on or around the property.

One line of inquiry centers on a redacted email contained in Department of Justice files alleging that two “foreign girls” were buried in the hills surrounding the ranch.

New Mexico state Rep. Andrea Romero (D), who co-sponsored the probe, said there is no indication the FBI ever searched the property.

“He was basically doing anything he wanted in this state without any accountability whatsoever,” Romero told NBC News.

Legislature Funds Bipartisan “Truth Commission”

The New Mexico legislature unanimously approved $2.5 million to fund a bipartisan “truth commission” tasked with investigating potential criminal activity at the 7,600-acre estate, which includes a 26,700-square-foot mansion and multiple guest houses.

Lawmakers are urging victims to come forward.

Several allegations tied to the ranch have already surfaced:

  • Annie Farmer, who testified at Ghislaine Maxwell’s trial, said Maxwell gave her a nude massage there when she was 16, and that Epstein later entered her bed and “pressed his body” into hers.

  • A victim identified as “Jane” testified she was taken to the ranch and abused at 14, recalling: “I just remember someone, at one point, just came into [my] room and said: ‘Jeffrey wants to see you,’ and then escorted me to see him.”

  • Virginia Giuffre said she was abused at the ranch and claimed Maxwell instructed her to “massage” former New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson—language she said was understood to mean sexual activity.

  • A Santa Fe massage therapist also accused Epstein of sexually abusing her at the property.

Buried Victims Allegation Draws Urgent Scrutiny

The most chilling claim surfaced in an anonymous email referenced in DOJ materials, alleging that two females were buried in the hills near the ranch.

Last week, New Mexico’s chief of criminal affairs requested immediate access to an unredacted DOJ file tied to the allegation, along with any forensic evidence.

According to the Albuquerque Journal, the email, sent in 2019 by someone claiming to be a former ranch worker, alleged Epstein and Maxwell ordered the burial of two foreign girls who were killed “by strangulation during rough fetish sex.”

Authorities have not verified the claim.

However, the new investigation signals that officials are no longer willing to leave such allegations unanswered.

New Mexico Land Commissioner Stephanie Garcia Richard is now calling for a full search of the property and the surrounding area.

“I’m horrified when I learned something new, especially when I learned that state land could have been used, could have been involved in some of these monstrous activities,” she said.

Wider Network Could Be Exposed

Attorneys representing Epstein survivors say the probe may uncover not only Epstein’s crimes, but also who enabled or ignored them.

“Many of the survivors had experiences in New Mexico, and as we’ve learned, there were local politicians and other people that were aware of what was happening in New Mexico,” said attorney Sigrid McCawley.

Epstein purchased the ranch in 1993 and owned it until his 2019 death in a New York jail cell.

In 2023, his estate sold the property to the family of former Texas state senator Don Huffines, who says the land will be turned into a Christian retreat.

It is now renamed San Rafael Ranch.

Even Darker Claims Surface in Newly Released Files

Separate documents from the Epstein records describe a victim’s coded diary entry claiming she was treated as a “human incubator” and forced to give birth to a child who was then taken from her.

As investigators begin digging into what truly happened at Zorro Ranch, the possibility looms that some of the most disturbing secrets of the Epstein network may still be buried, literally and figuratively, beneath the New Mexico desert.
