Several of Rep. Jasmine Crockett’s (D-TX) former aides have spoken out to expose the Democrat congresswoman.
Crockett, a rising star in the Democratic Party, has garnered attention for her fiery rhetoric against President Donald Trump and his supporters.
However, behind the scenes, she’s facing serious criticism for her treatment of staff and her behavior in Congress.
According to multiple sources who have worked with or for Crockett, the 44-year-old Texas Democrat has earned a reputation for being rude, unprofessional, and more focused on building her social media brand than serving her constituents.
Crockett, who has been outspoken against Trump and other Republicans, has become known for her fiery speeches and dramatic moments, especially in committee hearings where she often directs her attacks at the president.
But those who have worked with her say her public persona is starkly different from the way she behaves when the cameras are off.
Sources allege that Crockett is rarely in the office, preferring to work from her luxury apartment in Washington, D.C., and that when she does show up, she is “disengaged” and “mean” to staff.
According to those sources, who blew the whistle to the New York Post, most of Crockett’s fiery rhetoric is just an act that she uses to garner media attention as she builds her public persona as an “influencer.”
The staffers also describe Crockett as a boss from hell, who is “never at the office” and takes out her frustrations on her subordinates.
One former aide described the situation, saying that Crockett “screams at staff” and has a habit of “freaking out over the most random things.”
Another source claimed that Crockett, rather than utilizing her staff’s vehicles, rents luxury cars and has aides drive her in style.
They said staff are expected to treat Crockett like a VIP.
“She expects her staff to drive her around while she’s in the back seat,” one source said, calling it a “power play.”
They likened it to treating congressional aides like “Uber drivers.”
While Crockett has made headlines with her viral moments, such as the highly publicized attack on Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), her staff has been left divided.
Some said they felt uncomfortable with her behavior.
Crockett’s comments to her gay staff about her “butch” remarks against Greene sparked backlash.
One former aide recounted that Crockett dismissed concerns, saying, “That’s not offensive.
“You’re stupid if you think so.”
Her behavior has raised serious questions about her commitment to her role in Congress.
Some former staff members say she is more focused on social media fame than actual legislative work.
“It is widely known that she’s not nice to staff and is just not a really dedicated member focused on constituents,” one aide said.
“She is focused almost exclusively on being an influencer, not a member of Congress,” said another source who has worked with Crockett, describing her as “all diva, no wow.”
The congresswoman has been known for cycling through staff members quickly, with some leaving due to the toxic work environment, while others were reportedly fired.
A former aide said Crockett “thinks she’s her own best adviser” and “doesn’t care about local issues happening in her district.”
Instead, the focus appears to be on building her personal brand, something critics say is part of a broader trend in modern politics where personalities and spectacle overshadow actual governance.
Despite Crockett’s increasingly controversial behavior, she remains a figurehead for the left-wing media.
She regularly makes appearances on national platforms that fuel her anti-Trump agenda.
However, it’s clear that while she may be gaining attention for her confrontations in Congress, the real work of a congresswoman is being left undone as she prioritizes celebrity over service.
For many conservatives, this is just another example of how the Left has embraced self-promotion and divisive rhetoric while neglecting the needs of the American people.
