Jasmine Crockett Downplays Illegal Alien Crime, Labels ICE ‘Slave Patrols’

Controversial Democrat influencer Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) escalated her inflammatory rhetoric on Sunday by likening Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents to “slave patrols.”

The congresswoman made the inflammatory remarks while attempting to downplay illegal alien crime in America.

“As somebody who understands history, when I see ICE, I see slave patrols,” Crockett told MSNBC’s Ali Velshi.

The Texas Democrat went on to argue that “white supremacists” commit murders at a higher rate than illegal aliens.

“For every immigrant that you have an example of, I’ll raise you at least two to five white supremacists, if not more, right?” Crockett claimed.

Crockett did not produce any evidence to support these claims, however.

ICE: Thousands Of Convicted Murderers On The Docket

Crockett’s comments came days after she sparked outrage by calling Kayla Hamilton a “random dead person” during a House Judiciary Committee hearing.

Hamilton was a 20-year-old autistic woman who was raped and murdered by an MS-13 gang member who crossed into the country illegally.

Her latest remarks ignore ICE’s own reporting.

As of September 2024, the agency said its docket included 13,000 convicted murderers and 1,845 facing homicide charges.

ICE also revealed that more than 662,000 illegal immigrants on its docket have criminal histories inside the U.S. and abroad.

Despite this, Crockett insisted law enforcement should be viewed through the lens of “slave patrol” history.

“If you know the history of policing in this country, then you understand that they were born out of slave patrols,” she said.

Crockett’s MSNBC appearance came just days after the Supreme Court lifted restrictions that had limited the Trump administration’s ability to conduct immigration raids in Los Angeles.

The ruling allows federal agents to use broad criteria, such as language, as justification to question individuals suspected of being in the country illegally.

The decision has been hailed by Trump administration officials as a crucial tool to reestablish enforcement after years of sanctuary policies and local resistance to federal immigration authority.

A Record Of Controversy

Crockett has repeatedly drawn headlines for her attacks on political opponents and incendiary statements.

In a heated exchange last year, she lashed out at Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), mocking her appearance by saying she had a “bleach-blonde, bad-built, butch body.”

Her latest comments comparing ICE to slave patrols and dismissing migrant crime as cherry-picked examples are already sparking backlash, particularly from the family of Kayla Hamilton.

The young woman’s family continues to push for accountability after her brutal murder at the hands of a dangerous MS-13 illegal alien.
