Democrat President Joe Biden has doomed his chances of re-election by warning that his own policies will cause the U.S Southern Border to “be chaotic for a while.”
The one Achilles heel for the Democrats has always been immigration.
That is why Barack Obama deported more people than President Donald Trump.
But Biden seems to be unaware of the fact that if we donโt have borders, we donโt have a country.
On Thursday, the Biden administration officially ends President Trump’s successful Title 42 border policy.
Migrants are already waiting on the other side of the border for Title 42 to end.
Some estimates suggest up to 700,000 illegal migrants are preparing to storm the border and flood the United States.
As Slay News reported earlier, Border Patrol officials are now warning that the “dam is about to break.”
Biden said the administration is preparing for a surge in migrants and the White House was working to make the transition orderly.
However, the Biden admin is preparing to transport the migrants into American cities rather than turn them away.
โBut it remains to be seen,โ Biden told reporters about the impact of ending Title 42.
โItโs going to be chaotic for a while.โ
WATCH:
โWe believe we have a robust process to deal with what is going to occur after Title 42 lifts,โ White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said.
“Again, weโre using the tools that are available to us because Congress refuses to do their job as it relates to the border.”
According to NBC, the chaos will be caused by Bidenโs plan itself:
The Biden administration is now preparing a memo that will direct Customs and Border Protection to begin releasing migrants into the United States without court dates or the ability to track them, according to three sources familiar with the plans.
The Biden administration began releasing migrants without court dates to alleviate overcrowding in March 2021, but had previously enrolled those migrants in a program known as Alternatives to Detention, which required them to check in on a mobile app until they were eventually given a court date.
The new policy would release them on โparoleโ with a notice to report to an Immigration and Customs Enforcement office but without enrolling them in the program.
The more than 11,000 border apprehensions in a single day is a record and surpasses expectations of 10,000 per day predicted by Department of Homeland Security officials on what could come when Covid restrictions lift late Thursday.
โWeโre already breaking and we havenโt hit the starting line,โ one DHS official told NBC News, speaking on the condition of anonymity because the person isnโt authorized to talk to the media.
A DHS spokesperson said the new policy will apply only to migrants who have been carefully vetted.
โAs Republican and Democratic administrations alike have done in the past to protect the safety and security of Border Patrol agents and migrants in the event of severe overcrowding conditions, U.S. Border Patrol sectors may consider the use of parole for certain migrants who have undergone strict national security and public safety vetting,โ the spokesperson said.
This comes after a Venezuelan migrant was arrested three times since he arrived in Chicago three weeks ago, as Slay News reported.
However, the migrant has been evading justice by simply giving a different name each time he is caught, with police unable to trace his criminal history.
During his hearing Tuesday, the judge and prosecutors raised concerns about police not knowing the identities of the migrants who are flooding the city
Judge Maryam Ahmad said: โHereโs where Iโm going with this, just so weโre clear.
“These are individuals whoโve not been in the country very long.
“Youโre now telling me that they were arrested at Macyโs, committing a felony retail theft.
โSo the court wants some idea of who is in front of me.
“Additionally, as the public defender just indicated, one person has already indicated heโs using another name.
“So, who are these people? Who are these individuals?โ
On Tuesday, Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot declared a state of emergency due to the influx of migrants.
โSadly, we donโt expect the buses to stop arriving anytime soon, and importantly, weโve seen, in the last couple of weeks, a new surge of migrants coming to Chicago on a daily basis,” Lightfoot said.
“Itโs worse now and itโs going to get worse before it gets better.
โWe will always do right by our immigrant and refugee communities, but weโve reached a breaking point.โ
