Former MSNBC host Joy Reid is questioning whether President Donald Trump was even injured during the alleged assassination attempt at his Pennsylvania rally last year.
The far-left former anchor is suggesting the media has failed to investigate his health.
Reid argues that Trump wasn’t shot at and is mocking the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
She appeared on former colleague Katie Phang’s YouTube channel, where she accused the press of shielding Trump.
Reid appeared to claim that Trump faked being shot because his ear healed from the injury after a bullet grazed it.
“He’s got these magical doctors who claimed that he was shot in the ear, but his ear, I guess, grew back,” said Reid, who left MSNBC earlier this year.
“He had a Dukal bandage on one minute, no bandage the next.
“We can’t get a medical record from this alleged assassination.
“He was supposedly shot. We have nothing.
“We’ve got no — we can’t even ask.”
Phang jumped in: “Where are the investigative records?
“One day, he slapped a Maxi Pad on his ear.
“The next day, the ear is totally fine.”
“It’s fine!” Reid replied.
“I remember being in mainstream media where we both used to work, saying, ‘Isn’t it odd that we’ve never asked for his medical records?’
“And I got in trouble for that. So, you’re not allowed to even say, ‘Isn’t that weird?’”
Reid continued, suggesting she knew more about past assassination attempts against former presidents than she did about the Trump shooting.
“We’re getting nothing,” she said.
“And the mainstream media isn’t demanding his medical records.
“They’re not demanding anything.
“They’re terrified of this man,” she claimed.

The former MSNBC host has questioned Trump’s injuries before.
Just days after the Pennsylvania shooting, Reid speculated online that Trump had not been struck by a bullet.
“I have many questions! Like where are the medical reports?” Reid wrote in a Threads post.
“What caused Trump’s injury and what was the injury?
“Sheapnel? [sic] Glass? A bullet?
“Where were the three attendees who were shot seated or standing relative to Trump?
“Why was Trump allowed to stand and pose for photos, fist pumping for nearly ten seconds while asking about his shoe when there could easily have been additional shooters?”
She also asked: “How did the gunman manage to get on the roof of the building WHERE THE LOCAL POLICE WERE LITERALLY INSIDE?”
Trump survived the July 2024 assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania, when a gunman opened fire during his rally.
He was struck in the ear and famously raised a bloodied fist to the crowd as Secret Service rushed him offstage.
Three attendees were shot, one fatally.
Federal investigators later confirmed that the bullet narrowly missed Trump’s head, and the Secret Service has since admitted to failures in securing the rally site.
Reid framed the incident as evidence of media cowardice:
“We’re getting nothing … they’re terrified of this man,” she insisted.
Her latest comments have fueled criticism that prominent figures on the Left are pushing conspiracies about the attack while downplaying the gravity of an attempt on the president’s life.
