Leftist ‘Reacher’ Actor Alan Ritchson: Christians Are a ‘Vitriolic Tribe’

Leftist actor Alan Ritchson has issued a hate-filled statement to attack Christians and President Donald Trump.

Ritchson called Trump a “rapist” and attacked Christians who support him.

The self-professed Christian posts videos online for what he calls InstaChurch.

InstaChurch is a series in which the “Reacher” actor explores scripture and how it relates to his life.

In his latest video, Ritchson said:

“I’m a Christian quite simply because of what Jesus calls us to do.

“Love other people until death.

“It doesn’t mean we’re all to be hung on a cross, but how can I suffer for you?

“That is a beautiful thing.”

However, those comments did not come without deep criticism of Christians.

“Christians today have become the most vitriolic tribe,” Ritchson claimed.

“It is so antithetical to what Jesus was calling us to be and to do.”

He also seemingly called out all levels of the Catholic Church other than the papacy.

“It’s worth saying that the atrocities that are happening in the church that are being actively covered up, even to this day with people not being held accountable, is repulsive,” he told the Hollywood Reporter.

“I can’t for one-second support the Catholic Church while there are still cardinals, bishops, and priests being passed around with known pedophilic tendencies.”

Despite his mother being Catholic, the outlet reported that 41-year-old Ritchson rejected any association with the church.

He also took shots at Christians who have supported President Trump.

Ritchson was described as being outraged about Christians who support Trump.

He then continued to falsely claim that Trump is a “rapist.”

“Trump is a rapist and a con man, and yet the entire Christian church seems to treat him like he’s their poster child and it’s unreal,” said.

“I don’t understand it.”

Ritchson has embedded himself in far-left activism in the past.

Some of his controversial statements have come back to haunt him.

In 2020, a photo surfaced of the actor wearing a shirt that said “Arrest the cops that killed Breonna Taylor.”

The shirt was in reference to a woman who was shot by police during the execution of a warrant for a drug case.

“That was a tragic case,” Ritchson said.

“Cops get away with murder all the time, and the fact that we can’t really hold them accountable for their improprieties is disturbing to me.”

Ritchson also called for complete “reform” of the police.

He claimed it takes more time to get an education as a “hairstylist than as a cop.”

Ritchson also made claims about the modeling agency, which he was once a part of.

He called the industry “legalized sex trafficking.”

Ritchson added that the inductry is “not regulated.”

He likened being hired for a modeling job to being “trafficked” to a photographer.

“The number of times and situations where I was put in horrific environments where sexual abuse was the goal and the paycheck that you were desperate for in order to survive was the carrot, I can’t count on two hands,” he said.

“It was quite often.”
