List of Bohemian Grove’s Secret Members Exposed in Leak

A bombshell leak has allegedly exposed the membership roster of one of the most secretive elite gatherings in America, the ultra-exclusive Bohemian Grove secret society retreat in Northern California.

The leaked names read like a who’s who of political power, corporate influence, and Silicon Valley dominance.

According to the San Francisco Standard, independent journalist Daniel Boguslaw obtained what appears to be the full 2023 attendance list for the Bohemian Grove encampment, a two-week annual retreat held at the club’s 2,700-acre compound in Sonoma County.

A club member reportedly confirmed the list’s authenticity.

More than 2,200 names are said to appear on the document.

The Bohemian Club has long denied maintaining public membership lists, citing the private nature of the organization.

How the List Was Obtained

Boguslaw reportedly drove to the Bay Area and repeatedly showed up at the office of a known member for about a week.

Eventually, a courier delivered the full list.

A Bohemian Club member contacted by the San Francisco Standard confirmed the list was genuine.

The investigation was published in collaboration with nonprofit outlet More Perfect Union.

An Elite Network Hidden in Plain Sight

Bohemian Grove is no ordinary country club.

Founded in 1872 in San Francisco, it began as a gathering for journalists and artists but gradually evolved into one of America’s most powerful private social organizations.

Each summer, members gather at the redwood compound along the Russian River for a closed-door encampment featuring the infamous “Cremation of Care” ritual, a ceremony staged before a 40-foot owl statue beside an artificial lake.

The ritual is described by the club as an allegorical shedding of worldly burdens.

Critics have long characterized it as secretive and cult-like.

The leaked list, if authentic, reveals a concentration of influence spanning politics, finance, intelligence, and technology.

Former late-night host Conan O’Brien was also reportedly listed.

Policy Discussions Behind Closed Doors

One of the most significant revelations from the investigation involves policy discussions allegedly linked to Grove gatherings.

A memo from the Reagan Library reportedly shows Reagan assistant Edwin Harper sending Alan Greenspan a paper discussed at Bohemian Grove titled “Social Security Reform Proposals.”

The Reagan administration later enacted Social Security reforms in 1983.

The investigation also found that roughly a quarter of the Heritage Foundation’s board were Bohemian Club members during the period Project 2025 was being drafted.

Heritage co-founder Edwin Feulner, who reportedly attended the 2023 encampment, introduced Project 2025 shortly before that summer’s gathering.

The Bohemian Club’s spokesperson stated the organization “does not maintain public membership lists.”

The Cremation of Care

The annual “Cremation of Care” ceremony remains the Grove’s most controversial tradition.

It is written, produced, and performed by members and staged before a massive owl statue.

The club describes it as symbolically casting off the burdens of public life.

Critics argue the secrecy surrounding the event fuels legitimate concerns about elite coordination and influence far from public scrutiny.

A Shadow Network?

Over the decades, Bohemian Grove has attracted persistent allegations that it functions as a private networking hub for political and economic powerbrokers.

The club publicly insists it is merely a private social organization.

But with more than 2,000 high-level figures allegedly tied to its 2023 retreat, and documented policy discussions taking place within its walls, the latest leak is certain to reignite scrutiny.

Whether this represents simple networking among elites or something more consequential remains a question many Americans are increasingly unwilling to ignore.

And as renewed attention shines on one of the most secretive power gatherings in the country, pressure for transparency is unlikely to fade.
