Dispute Allegedly Sparked by Accusations Over Money

According to a police report obtained by Lake and McHenry County Scanner, the confrontation began when Hill entered the office and accused McLemore of misusing organization funds.

Hill told police she believed McLemore was using Black Lives Matter money to support gambling activities.

“I told him, ‘It’s not fair that I come here and I work and you running around taking care of other things that don’t got nothing to do with Black Lives Matter with Black Lives Matter money,’” Hill told officers.

“I’m the one that make this joint work,” she added.

Hill also reportedly demanded money and cigarettes during the confrontation, according to the police report.
