Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) is accusing Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky of deliberately trying to keep his nation’s war with Russia alive.
Greene declared that Zelensky is sabotaging Friday’s historic peace summit between President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The congresswoman spoke out after Zelensky launched one of the largest Ukrainian drone attacks on Russia just hours before the talks.
Greene’s charge came after the account Open Source Intel reported that Ukraine had carried out a massive overnight barrage against Russian targets.

“Zelensky doesn’t want peace and obviously is trying to sabotage President Trump’s heroic efforts to end the war in Ukraine.

The drone strikes hit Rostov-on-Don, damaging multiple apartment buildings and injuring more than a dozen civilians, according to acting regional governor Yuri Slyusar.
Two of those wounded remain in serious condition.
Additional Ukrainian drone strikes targeted Belgorod, injuring three people.
The strikes also hit the village of Pristen, where at least one person was killed when a drone struck a car.
The Ukrainian escalation came after Russian strikes in Ukraine’s Sumy region on Wednesday night injured several civilians, including a 7-year-old girl.
Despite the latest violence, Trump and Putin are set to meet in Anchorage, Alaska, on Friday for high-stakes negotiations aimed at ending the nearly three-year war.
The summit marks Putin’s first U.S. visit since 2015.
It’s also the first meeting between U.S. and Russian leaders since June 2021.
Putin on Thursday praised Washington for what he called “sincere efforts” to end the war.
The Russian leader said the U.S. is making “energetic and sincere efforts to stop hostilities, stop the crisis and reach agreements that are of interest to all parties involved in this conflict.”
Zelensky, however, insisted Russia is not serious about peace.
Instead, he is calling for “coordinated efforts” with the United States and Europe to pressure Moscow.
The Anchorage summit is shaping up as one of the defining foreign policy moments of Trump’s second term.
However, it is now clouded by fresh accusations that Zelensky is trying to undermine the peace process before it even begins.
