A violent mob launched fireworks, hurled rocks, and stormed an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility in Portland Saturday night.
The violent rioters injured multiple police officers and forced federal agents to fight to regain control.
According to Department of Homeland Security (DHS) officials, the group smashed glass, ignited smoke grenades, and physically broke into the federal building during what they called a “riot,” a term the corporate media has predictably avoided.
“Portland rioters are violently targeting federal law enforcement, and we won’t sit idly by,” said Tricia McLaughlin, Assistant Secretary of Homeland Security.
“You will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”
The riot followed a George Soros-funded “No Kings” protest billed as a “free speech” event.
Yet, the so-called “protest” conveniently devolved into anarchist violence targeting ICE, yet again.
At least four federal law enforcement officers were injured as protesters turned violent near the ICE field office in Portland Saturday evening.
The facility was forcibly entered, rocks were thrown, and explosives were launched, according to DHS.
Despite the assault, officers held the line and secured the building by nightfall.
“This wasn’t a protest,” McLaughlin said.
“It was an organized, targeted attack on federal law enforcement.”
Earlier in the day, Portland hosted a downtown protest with tens of thousands marching through the city under the “No Kings” banner.
But as night fell, the protest splintered into a dangerous siege of the ICE facility five miles away.
The Portland Police Bureau (PPB) declared an unlawful assembly just before 6:30 p.m. and warned the crowd that they were prepared to use impact munitions and physical force if officers were attacked.
Despite warnings, the violence escalated:
At 7 p.m., officers reported a medical emergency inside the ICE facility and warned rioters not to block EMT access.
By 8 p.m., criminal activity—including assault and property destruction—had been observed. Police began targeted arrests and issued dispersal orders.
Officials have not yet disclosed how many arrests were made, if any.
As if the physical assault wasn’t enough, ICE agents were doxxed across the city.
Posters revealed names, photos, and home addresses of federal officers, essentially offering them up to radical activists for retaliation.
“We will NOT be deterred by rioters’ intimidation and threats,” DHS wrote in a fiery statement on X.
“ICE immigration enforcement will only ramp up.”
While federal law enforcement took the brunt of the attack, Portland’s city officials remained silent, as has become tradition in a city that has served as ground zero for far-left riots since 2020.
Meanwhile, Secretary Kristi Noem, recently tapped for a federal role, weighed in with a warning:
“You will not stop us. You will not slow us down.”
What happened Saturday in Portland wasn’t a protest.
It was an orchestrated act of anti-American violence aimed at silencing ICE and the rule of law through mob action, doxxing, and direct assault.
Four officers are injured, a federal facility was attacked, and not a single leftist leader has condemned it.
Portland remains a test case for what happens when anarchists are emboldened, law enforcement is undermined, and violence is excused under the banner of “protest.”
If these radical mobs think they can intimidate those bringing law and order to American communities, they’re in for a rude awakening.
