New Crystal-Clear Video Filmed by ICE Agent Who Shot Renee Nicole Good Shows EXACTLY What Happened

Newly released video footage provides a clear picture of the moments leading up to the fatal shooting of Renee Nicole Good, a Minneapolis anti-ICE activist who was killed during a confrontation with federal immigration agents earlier this week.

The video, obtained by Minnesota outlet Alpha News, was filmed by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent who shot Good, identified as Jonathan “Jon” Ross.

It clearly shows Good seated in her Honda Pilot during an escalating standoff with federal officers.

In the footage, Good appears calm at first, smiling and telling Ross, “That’s fine, dude. I’m not mad.”

Her wife, Rebecca Good, can be heard taunting the agent, urging him to “show his face” and challenging him verbally as she records the encounter on her phone.

As tensions rose, federal agents ordered Good multiple times to exit her vehicle.

According to the footage, she ignored those commands.

Instead, she began revving the engine and then accelerated forward toward Ross as he stood in front of her vehicle.

Ross’s camera jolts abruptly at that moment, as he was struck while trying to jump out of the way.

The ICE agent swiftly responds by firing three shots, including one through the vehicle’s windshield.

Good was struck and later pronounced dead after crashing into two parked cars nearby.

Additional surveillance video released earlier shows that Good had positioned her SUV in the roadway for several minutes, partially blocking traffic during an ongoing immigration enforcement operation.

The footage also shows multiple federal agents surrounding the vehicle and attempting to gain compliance before the shooting occurred.

Neither of the newly released videos captures the immediate aftermath of the crash.

Federal officials say the agent acted in self-defense, believing Good was attempting to use her vehicle as a weapon.

The Trump administration has strongly backed the ICE agent involved, emphasizing that officers are facing an unprecedented rise in assaults while carrying out lawful duties.

Democrat activists and some media figures have labeled the shooting unjustified and attempted to frame the incident as “murder.”

Meanwhile, others have focused on Good’s background and radical left-wing activism rather than the sequence of events captured on video.

However, authorities are investigating Good’s actions as an act of potential domestic terrorism.

Friends of Good told The New York Post that she was part of a local activist network that opposed ICE operations and that participants had received training on how to confront federal agents.

One acquaintance described her as a committed activist who believed she was “doing what was right.”

According to the Post, Good’s six-year-old son attended Southside Family Charter School, which has publicly promoted a “social justice first” approach and involvement in political activism.

Good and her wife reportedly moved to Minneapolis last year after briefly relocating to Canada following President Donald Trump’s 2024 election victory.

The shooting remains under investigation, but the newly released footage is already reshaping public debate by documenting the confrontation from the perspective of the federal agent on the scene, showing repeated commands, escalating defiance, and the split-second decision that ended the encounter.
