New Mexico DOJ Launches Official Investigation into Allegations of Buried Victims at Epstein’s Zorro Ranch

New Mexico prosecutors have officially launched an investigation into chilling allegations that Jeffrey Epstein murdered two young victims and buried their bodies at his sprawling Zorro Ranch estate.

The bombshell claims surfaced in previously sealed emails included in the latest tranche of Epstein Files released by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ).

Earlier this week, members of the New Mexico legislature called for a formal probe.

Now, the state’s Department of Justice has confirmed that an investigation is underway.

The allegations surrounding the late financier and convicted sex offender continue to expand.

This latest development suggests Epstein’s New Mexico ranch may have played a far darker role than previously known.

Buried “Somewhere in the Hills”

According to Reuters, the New Mexico Department of Justice is investigating claims contained in newly released Epstein Files that the bodies of two foreign young women are buried on or near Zorro Ranch.

New Mexico DOJ spokeswoman Lauren Rodriguez confirmed:

“We are actively investigating this allegation and are conducting a broader review in light of the latest release from the U.S. Department of Justice.”

Rodriguez said the state has requested an unredacted copy of the document making the burial claim.

The email containing the explosive allegation was reportedly sent to New Mexico radio host Eddy Aragon by a former ranch employee.

The sender allegedly demanded bitcoin in exchange for video evidence showing Epstein engaged in sexual acts with minors.

Aragon forwarded the information to the FBI.

The email allegedly stated that the girls were buried “somewhere in the hills outside the Zorro,” and claimed their cause of death was “by strangulation during rough, fetish sex.”

If substantiated, the allegations would mark an unprecedented escalation in the scope of Epstein’s crimes.

A Ranch Under Scrutiny

Zorro Ranch has long been suspected of being more than a remote retreat.

While much public attention has focused on Epstein’s private “Pedophile Island,” Little Saint James, newly released materials suggest similar abuses may have occurred in New Mexico.

The crimes could have been potentially shielded from scrutiny by the ranch’s isolation.

The state’s broader investigation aims to determine the full extent of Epstein’s activities at the property.

Authorities will now be looking into what happened at Zorro Ranch and who knew.

Political Fallout Intensifies

The development comes amid escalating global fallout from the Epstein Files, including the recent arrest of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor in the United Kingdom over alleged ties to Epstein.

Meanwhile, Democrat lawmakers have criticized the Trump administration’s handling of the document releases.

However, the transparency has exposed explosive information that had remained buried for years.

A New Layer to the Scandal

If New Mexico’s investigation uncovers evidence supporting the burial claims, it would add an entirely new and horrifying dimension to a case already defined by systemic corruption, elite protection, and unanswered questions.

Who were the two alleged victims?

Where did they come from?

And who else was present at Zorro Ranch during the years Epstein operated with apparent impunity?

The DOJ document releases have reopened a scandal many believed was contained.

But as this investigation unfolds, it appears the story is far from finished.

For victims and their families, full accountability, no matter how powerful the names involved, must remain the priority.
