After years of political smears and media insinuations, even The New York Times has now conceded what testimony and documents have already made clear: there has never been any evidence tying President Donald Trump to Jeffrey Epstein’s trafficking operation.
The Times’s new report, authored by Nicholas Confessore and Julie Tate, leans heavily on decades-old photos and anecdotes in an attempt to frame Trump and Epstein as socially connected in the 1990s.
But buried beneath the narrative, the paper finally acknowledges reality.
“An examination of their history by The New York Times has found no evidence implicating Mr. Trump in Mr. Epstein’s abuse and trafficking of minors,” the article admits.
The piece relies on interviews with “more than 30 former employees of Jeffrey Epstein, victims of his abuse and others who crossed paths with Mr. Epstein and President Trump,” as well as “new documents.”
Yet even with months of research, access to victims, and archival material, the Times could not produce a single allegation linking Trump to criminal activity.
Instead, the paper notes in passing that Epstein “had a talent for acquiring powerful friends,” a pattern long recognized across politics, business, and academia.

Democrats Attempt to Manufacture a Narrative
Despite years of testimony absolving Trump of any involvement, Democrats have spent months trying to revive the Epstein narrative for political gain.
On Thursday, the campaign reached a new fever pitch when Democratic leaders circulated old emails and photographs in an effort to imply a “close” relationship between Trump and Epstein.
They even promoted emails in which Epstein criticized Trump, apparently believing that Epstein’s personal animosity constituted evidence of guilt.
The party’s official X account last month highlighted a February 8, 2017, email Epstein sent to former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers, in which the sex offender wrote:
“recall I’ve told you… I have met some very bad people… none as bad as Trump.
“not one decent cell in his body… so yes– dangerous.”
Democrats blasted the message across social media anyway, stating:
“Newly released emails show Jeffrey Epstein thought Trump was one of the worst people he knew, with ‘not one decent cell in his body.’
“He went on to describe Trump with one word: ‘Dangerous.’”
The post was widely mocked as it directly contradicts the left’s own claim that Trump and Epstein were secretly close.
Just days prior, the party’s official account released a video asserting the two men had a “secret friendship,” relying on selective edits and insinuation rather than evidence.
Democrats Also Redacted Accuser’s Name to Mislead Voters
In their rush to push the narrative, Democrats went further, redacting the name of Epstein accuser Virginia Giuffre in an effort to imply Trump’s involvement.
Giuffre, who died in 2024, had testified under oath that Trump was never involved in Epstein’s crimes.
She was also an outspoken supporter of Trump’s 2024 campaign and publicly praised his role in holding Epstein accountable.
Epstein’s Actual Conduct Contradicts Democrats’ Claims
Other documented evidence continues to undermine the left’s storyline:
• Trump banned Epstein from Mar-a-Lago in the early 2000s due to inappropriate behavior toward a minor staffer.
• Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s longtime accomplice, has stated that Trump was not involved in any wrongdoing.
• Epstein maintained contact with prominent Democrats long after his conviction, including U.S. Delegate Stacey Plaskett of the Virgin Islands, whom he “coached” before her questioning during a 2019 congressional hearing targeting Trump.
Nevertheless, Democrats continue to revive the debunked claims, often relying on heavily edited images, discredited insinuations, and, in some cases, Epstein’s own emails of personal resentment.
Now, even The New York Times, in a story filled with innuendo, has been forced to acknowledge the obvious: there is no evidence linking President Trump to Epstein’s criminal enterprise.
