As New York City’s mayoral race heats up, the far-left ideology of radical Democrat nominee Zohran Mamdani has become a major point of contention.
Mamdani has been labeled a “communist lunatic” by President Donald Trump and his son, Don Jr.
Yet, despite mounting scrutiny, Mamdani refuses to address questions about his radical views.
Outside his Queens apartment, Mamdani, who has been backed by the most extreme factions of the Democratic Party, laughed off inquiries regarding his past communist sympathies.
He refused to respond when a Fox News reporter after him whether he planned to walk back any of his far-left statements.

His failure to respond to such questions, particularly when asked about his views on seizing the means of production, has raised red flags for conservatives and Trump supporters.
Many fear that this type of radical leftist ideology could be the future of the United States.
Mamdani has long been associated with the far-left wing of the Democratic Party.
He is openly embracing socialist ideas and aligning himself with dangerous communist rhetoric.
In a 2020 tweet, Mamdani quoted Karl Marx’s famous line:
“Each according to their need, each according to their ability.”
The quote has been a hallmark of Marxist thought for decades.
His comments on housing, where he suggested the communist-style “abolition of private property” or a “statewide housing guarantee,” have only deepened concerns about his far-left agenda.
Rep. Nicole Malliotakis (R-NY) did not mince words when describing Mamdani’s platform:
“He claims to be a socialist, whether it’s wanting to abolish private property or wanting to seize the means of production, these are communist ideas right out of the playbook of Karl Marx.”
But Mamdani’s refusal to publicly disavow these positions or clarify his stance on them speaks volumes.
This is the candidate the Democratic Party has chosen to represent New York City in one of the most important elections in recent history.
The president and Trump Jr. have been vocal about their concerns over Mamdani’s dangerous ideology.
President Trump, never one to hold back, blasted Mamdani on Truth Social, calling him a “100% Communist Lunatic” who is poised to take New York to “rock bottom.”
Trump emphasized how Mamdani’s radical left-wing ideology, backed by the likes of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), presents a clear and present danger to the city’s future.
“He looks TERRIBLE, his voice is grating, he’s not very smart, he’s got AOC+3, Dummies ALL, backing him,” Trump posted.
“Yes, this is a big moment in the History of our Country!”
Trump Jr. echoed his father’s sentiments, noting that Mamdani’s rise could signal the end of New York as we know it.
“But what happens to New York then?” Don Jr. said.
“And as a lifelong New Yorker, as someone who grew up here, someone who changed the skyline here with my father for many years before he got into politics, that’s a scary notion.”
He went on to warn that if Mamdani becomes mayor, “rock bottom is what New York’s going to see.”
Mamdani’s refusal to answer questions about his radical past and potential future plans reflects a broader, more troubling trend among today’s progressive Democrats.
It reveals the normalization of dangerous, far-left, and even Marxist ideologies.
His positions on housing and the economy are a direct challenge to American values of private property and individual liberty.
Mamdani’s vision, where private property is abolished and the state guarantees housing to all, is not just un-American, it’s an outright assault on the core principles of capitalism and freedom.
