Republican Memo Ridicules Democrats' 'Wildly Unpopular' Proposals for 'Project 2026'

House Republicans are sounding the alarm on what they call Democrats’ “nightmare vision” for America.

Republicans have issued a memorandum mocking the “wildly unpopular” policy proposals for the Democrats’ “Project 2026” agenda.

The GOP memo accuses House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) and his allies of plotting a return to Joe Biden–era chaos with open borders, crushing tax hikes, and woke social mandates.

The National Republican Congressional Campaign Committee (NRCC) dropped the hammer Tuesday, releasing a satirical memo skewering Jeffries for failing to deliver the 100-day plan he promised in April.

At the time, Jeffries vowed Democrats would unveil “a blueprint for a better America.”

However, Republicans say the only blueprint they’ve seen is a radical wish list out of step with everyday Americans.

According to the NRCC, Democrats’ “Project 2026” would:

• Open the borders and abolish ICE

• Reverse Trump’s tax cuts and bankroll the Green New Deal

• Impeach President Trump repeatedly

• Slap a “Carbon Lifestyle Tax” on trucks, SUVs, and backyard grills

• Launch government-run grocery stores

• Mandate pronouns and DEI training in schools and workplaces

• Dismantle existing border barriers

• Provide taxpayer-funded healthcare, housing, and legal aid for illegal immigrants

“This is the America Democrats want to build,” NRCC spokesman Mike Marinella told Fox News.

“Higher taxes, open borders, skyrocketing gas prices, no more gas cars, crime in the streets, pronouns before commonsense, and no more freedom.

“House Republicans are the only thing standing between you and the nightmare of ‘Project 2026.’”

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) fired back, with spokesman Viet Shelton accusing Republicans of “betraying the middle class” and trying to “distract from their failed leadership.”

But Republicans say voters have seen enough and that Democrats’ radical agenda will only drive their majority further out of reach next November.
