Republicans Praise Trump for Securing Iran-Israel Ceasefire as Democrats Remain Silent

President Donald Trump announced a complete ceasefire agreement between Iran and Israel on Monday evening.

It came just 48 hours after the United States launched precision strikes that obliterated key components of Iran’s nuclear weapons program.

Within minutes of the announcement, Republican leaders erupted with praise.

Meanwhile, Democrats remained conspicuously silent, offering no public congratulations even as peace was being brokered under a Republican commander-in-chief they’ve spent years vilifying.

“CONGRATULATIONS TO EVERYONE!” Trump declared on Truth Social.

“It has been fully agreed by and between Israel and Iran that there will be a Complete and Total CEASEFIRE… for 12 hours, at which point the War will be considered, ENDED!”

The ceasefire, confirmed by Iranian officials and international observers, marked the culmination of Trump’s stunning military and diplomatic strategy.

Trump’s foreign diplomacy restored American strength abroad while forcing adversaries to the table under threat of overwhelming force.

Republicans, fresh off witnessing Trump’s bold military response during Operation Midnight Hammer, wasted no time celebrating the success.

“[Trump] is the greatest foreign policy mastermind in American history,” declared Rep. Andy Ogles (R-TN).

“Give him the Nobel Peace Prize—NOW.”

“Peace through STRENGTH!” echoed Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA).

“President Trump just did what no other president could do,” said Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC).

“All it took was the American people electing Donald J. Trump — and the world is safer for it.”

The ceasefire followed devastating B-2 bomber strikes on Iranian nuclear sites over the weekend.

Trump carried out the strikes without leaks, without delay, and without foreign policy “experts” second-guessing him into paralysis.

“Once Iran saw and heard what we’re capable of… it not only sends a message to them, but to the world,” said Rep. Marlin Stutzman (R-IN).

“This president wants peace — but if you don’t negotiate, there are consequences.”

Even Vice President J.D. Vance, speaking on Fox News’s “Special Report,” praised the ceasefire as a watershed moment in Middle Eastern diplomacy.

“I actually think when we look back, we will say the 12-day war was an important reset for the entire region,” Vance said.

“The president really hit the reset button.”

While Republicans were united in celebration, Democratic Party leadership remained silent.

The official X accounts from House and Senate Democrat leaders show zero congratulatory statements about the ceasefire.

There was one exception, however, but it wasn’t praise.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) used the moment to launch a legal attack on Trump, falsely claiming that the president initiated an “illegal war.”

“He also said that it was a war,” AOC told Fox News.

“The president… admitting that he unilaterally brought the United States into a war without congressional approval… is illegal.

“It is unconstitutional,” she incorrectly claimed.

So while President Trump ends a Middle East conflict in under two weeks, progressives like AOC are more concerned about process than peace.

Interestingly, one of the few Republicans critical of the Iran strikes, Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY), announced he will now stand down on a bipartisan resolution requiring Trump to seek congressional approval for military action.

“We wouldn’t push it if the cease-fire holds,” Massie told Politico.

“It’s really in their court.”

In a span of just 12 days, President Trump ordered targeted strikes, decimated Iran’s nuclear capability, and forced two arch-enemies to the peace table, without a single U.S. casualty.

While Democrats stew in silence and their allies in the corporate media scramble for a new anti-Trump narrative, the president continues to prove what conservatives have known all along:

Peace comes through strength.
