Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has responded to the hysteria from the Democrats and their corporate media allies over his federal agency’s firing of thousands of workers.
President Donald Trump’s HHS chief said the massive cuts are a “win-win for taxpayers.”
Kennedy noted that the move is particularly good news for those Americans who have suffered from harmful HHS decision-making in the past.
Last week, Kennedy announced planned cuts of about 20,000 jobs from HHS and the department’s numerous bloated subsidiary agencies.

The announced HHS job cuts come as RFK Jr. streamlines America’s excessive number of healthcare agencies.
Americans have been outraged to recently learn that HHS was funding bizarre radical programs, including DEI, cross-sex hormones for youth, and “gender affirming hormone therapy” for mice.
The revelations have led to widespread calls for significant change.
However, the Democrat-aligned media is promoting faux outrage over the layoffs.
In response, Kennedy appealed directly to American taxpayers.
In a Tuesday post on X, Kennedy addressed the hysteria.
While acknowledging the pain of newly unemployed individuals, RFK Jr. noted that they should never have been hired to begin with.
“This is a difficult moment for all of us at HHS,” Kennedy wrote.
“Our hearts go out to those who have lost their jobs.
“But the reality is clear: what we’ve been doing isn’t working.
“Despite spending $1.9 trillion in annual costs, Americans are getting sicker every year.
“In the past four years alone, the agency’s budget has grown by 38% — yet outcomes continue to decline.
“We must shift course,” Kennedy urged.
“HHS needs to be recalibrated to emphasize prevention, not just sick care.
“These changes will not affect Medicare, Medicaid, or other essential health services.”
RFK Jr. ended by emphasizing the financial benefits at a time when our federal national debt is ballooning way out of control.
“This overhaul is about realigning HHS with its core mission: to stop the chronic disease epidemic and Make America Healthy Again,” he explained.
“It’s a win-win for taxpayers and for every American we serve.”

The firings reportedly include top National Institutes of Health (NIH) officials, such as the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), a position formerly filled by Dr. Anthony Fauci.
