Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has warned that the politically motivated conviction of President Donald Trump in New York is going to “backfire” on the Democrats.
As Slay News reported, the jury found Trump “guilty” on all 34 counts on Thursday evening.
The shocking decision has stunned observers from all sides, raising major concerns about the state of America’s weaponized justice system.
Among these responding to the verdict was RFJ Jr., who is challenging both Trump and Democrat President Joe Biden in the November election.
“The Democratic Party believes it has a candidate that can’t beat President Trump and that they need to do it in the court,” Kennedy said.
“I think that’s bad for our country.
“I think it’s bad for democracy, and I think it’s politically going to backfire on them.”

Kennedy also appeared on Fox News to blast the Democrats while coming to Trump’s defense.
RFJ Jr. told anchor Jesse Watters that the Democrats are helping Trump win the 2024 election.
He argues that Democrats are getting “rid of as many possibilities for voters.”
“When I was growing up, the Democratic Party was the party of getting everybody to vote, of making sure nobody got disenfranchised,” he explains.
“The modern Democratic party is just trying to get rid of as many possibilities for voters as possible.”

Meanwhile, the American people have been expressing their support for Trump by making unprecedented donations to the Republicans.
Shortly after the verdict was announced, the GOP’s online donation website was so overwhelmed that its functionality was incapacitated.
WinRed, the Republican Party’s official online donation platform, reportedly shut down after a staggering surge in traffic following the verdict.
After the Manhattan jury found Trump guilty on all 34 counts, Judge Juan Merchant, a Biden donor, set sentencing for July 11.
Conveniently, the date is only four days before the Republican National Convention assembles to formally nominate Trump.
WinRed’s link to donate to Trump’s campaign led to a page indicating an error had taken place with the website’s host.
Other reports have GOP sources confirming the platform is “overwhelmed.”
Republicans rallied behind Trump after the verdict, with many choosing to find silver linings, the subsequent skyrocketing fundraising among them.
“The bad news is today the Biden leftists in New York made a mockery of our criminal justice system,” Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) said in a post on X.
“The good news is Americans have sent Trump over $50 million since this travesty and his deranged enemies just elected Trump for President again!”
