Scientists Confirm Moderna mRNA ‘Vaccine’ Makes Hidden Changes to Heart

A newly published peer-reviewed study has confirmed that Moderna’s mRNA COVID-19 injection alters the heart and blood vessels, revealing measurable changes in cardiovascular function that standard medical tests fail to detect.

The research, published in the European Journal of Pharmacology by Dr. Chun-Chao Chen and his team at Taipei Medical University, shows that the Moderna mRNA-1273 shot can cause subtle but detectable stiffness in blood vessels, suggesting hidden, vaccine-induced stress on the cardiovascular system.

Study Overview

Chen’s team analyzed the arterial pulse of 203 adults who received Moderna’s COVID shot at Shuang-Ho Hospital in Taiwan.

Using advanced noninvasive sensors, researchers recorded one-minute readings of each participant’s radial artery pulse both before and after vaccination.

Participants were grouped based on their post-vaccination experience:

  • No side effects (n = 18)
  • Cardiac side effects (n = 45)
  • Vascular side effects (n = 68)
  • Combined cardiac/vascular side effects (n = 72)

The scientists then applied two different analysis methods, a self-developed Pulse Distribution Analysis (PDA) and a machine-learning classifier, to extract 40 harmonic indices measuring amplitude, phase, and variability in blood flow.

Findings: “Transient but Measurable Vascular Stiffness”

According to the study, multiple spectral indices of the arterial pulse shifted significantly after Moderna vaccination, indicating changes in vascular elasticity and stiffness.

The research team found that their PDA technique achieved an AUC of 0.76, outperforming the machine-learning model in identifying participants who suffered cardiac or vascular side effects.

In simple terms, Moderna’s shot appears to temporarily alter the natural rhythm and flexibility of the cardiovascular system.

These subtle effects would never be detected by standard clinical exams.

The authors concluded that while the changes seem transient, the findings confirm that mRNA vaccines can subtly influence vascular tone and cardiac performance, particularly in individuals who experience side effects after vaccination.

Implications: Hidden Stress on the Heart

While the study stops short of proving long-term harm, it reinforces growing evidence that mRNA injections trigger measurable physiological reactions in the heart and blood vessels.

These effects cannot be dismissed as a coincidence.

The researchers described their approach as a “noninvasive biomarker” for detecting early cardiovascular stress or microvascular response following immunization, a potential tool for real-time monitoring of vaccine safety.

The authors disclosed no conflicts of interest, and funding came from the Taiwanese Ministry of Science and Technology and Taipei Medical University, confirming the research was government-supported but academically independent.

What It Means

Dr. Chen’s study opens a new frontier in post-vaccine cardiovascular science, showing that the human pulse itself can reveal what lab tests and public health agencies have overlooked.

As Chen and colleagues note, “significant post-vaccination changes were observed in multiple spectral indices of the arterial pulse,” highlighting that the mRNA-1273 shot produces “transient but measurable vascular stiffness.”

While health officials continue to insist the mRNA products are “safe and effective,” this study adds to a growing body of research indicating that the shots can subtly alter cardiovascular physiology, raising new questions about long-term safety and risk in sensitive individuals.

The findings arrive amid ongoing legal, regulatory, and scientific scrutiny of mRNA technologies, with increasing calls for transparency, informed consent, and post-market safety monitoring using modern digital health tools.

For now, the study stands as a warning, and a window into what scientists are finally beginning to measure: the real biological changes in the human heart after mRNA exposure.
