“Happy Days” actor Scott Baio has explained why he left “third-world country” California and moved his family to Florida.
During an appearance on Jesse Wattersโ show, Baio said he watched Southern California change for the worse in recent years and realized it was time to get out.
โIโve been in California a very, very long time, and itโs so sad to me,” Baio said.
“Iโve got family, and Iโve got friends there, and I didnโt want to leave, but Iโve been pretty much forced out.
โI would vote for a Democrat if they were going to fix some of this stuff. I would.
“But I donโt think the other side would ever vote for a Republican to fix it.
“And, Jesse, Iโm telling you; itโs bad.โ
He said he watched Southern California turn into a โthird-world country, between the homeless defecating on the sidewalk, doing drugs on the sidewalk in the middle of the day, illegal aliens all over the place, laws mean nothing, crime is out of control, graffiti on everything and all my tax dollars I donโt know what they go for.โ

To considerable backlash from the Left, Baio recently announced that he’s leaving California.
โAfter 45 years, Iโm making my way to finally โexit stage rightโ from California,” he said on Twitter.
โThe most recent survey conducted by the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority found approximately 69,000 people experiencing homelessness in L.A. County and 41,000 in the city in 2022.โ
