Democrat U.S. Delegate Stacey Plaskett (D-Virgin Islands) went on MSNBC and made a stunning slip of the tongue Sunday.
During an appearance on MSNBC, Plaskett warned that President Donald Trump should “be shot” before quickly correcting her comment to โstopped.โ
Plaskett was on “The Sunday Show” to talk about the Democrats’ ongoing politically motivated classified documents case against the 45th president.
She said the latest developments โshould be terrifying to all Americans, and [Trump] needs to be shot, stopped.โ

Plaskett is a non-voting member of Congress who has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons.
She was previously a Republican and civil servant under former President George W. Bush but joined the Democratic Party in 2008.
Earlier she threatened Twitter files journalist Matt Taibbi with 5 years in jail for allegedly lying to Congress, as Slay News reported.
But Taibbi didnโt lie, she was wrong.
Plaskett sent the threat to Taibbi in a letter, writing:
โThis mistake is important because, by adding an โA,โ you werenโt making a harmless spelling error. Rather, you were alleging that CISA- a government entity- was working with the EIP [Election Integrity Partnership] to have posts removed from social media.
โWhen presented with this misinformation, you acknowledged you had made โan errorโ by intentionally altering the acronym CIS and you subsequently deleted your erroneous tweet.
โPrior to your appearance before the subcommittee on March 9, you signed the Judiciary Committeeโs Truth in Testimony form, certifying that you understand that โknowingly providing material false information to this committee/subcommittee or knowingly concealing material information from this committee/subcommittee, is a crime (18 U.S.C. 1001).
โIn addition, at the beginning of the March 9 hearing, you swore โunder penalty of perjury that the testimony you [were] about to give [was] true and correct to the best of your knowledge, information, and belief.โ
โUnder the federal perjury statue, 18 U.S.C. 1621, proving false information is punishable by up to five years imprisonment.โ
This isn’t new or about Elon Musk. Eight years ago, as the legislation authorizing CISA was gaining steam in Congress, I wrote about how the new DHS subagency represented a vast expansion of surveillance powers, fusing big government and big business. https://t.co/4QENxdXNTD
