A new wave of chaos erupted in New York City on Saturday as George Soros–funded activists mobilized to block Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents from conducting operations, an increasingly common pattern as globalist-backed networks escalate their efforts to shield illegal aliens from enforcement.
Multiple arrests were made after protesters swarmed Chinatown, gathering outside a parking garage on Centre Street where ICE agents had reportedly staged for an upcoming immigration raid.
As with similar incidents across the country in recent months, activists appeared to have been tipped off to the precise location of federal law enforcement.
The result: coordinated mayhem.
Protesters illegally blocked government vehicles, obstructed streets, hurled debris into roadways, and damaged both public and private property.
The NYPD responded after residents reported that streets were blocked.
Police officers were not deployed to aid ICE but simply to restore basic public safety.

However, what unfolded was not a “spontaneous protest,” but the latest example of an organized, well-funded obstruction network.
Coordinated by NGOs, Not Ordinary Citizens
Despite media narratives describing these disruptions as “grassroots,” the operations are anything but.
In major cities like New York, activist groups run rapid response hotlines that function as miniature call centers.
These centers receive anonymous tips about ICE activity, verify them with on-the-ground volunteers, and then blast out mass text alerts to mobilize trained activists.
These aren’t unpaid volunteers—they are often compensated through stipends or reimbursements, turning low-wage or unemployed individuals into a ready-made street mob for hire.
One of the largest players in New York is Make The Road New York (MRNY), a left-wing nonprofit widely linked to anti-ICE activity.
MRNY is heavily funded by globalist mega-donors, including:
• George Soros’ Open Society Foundations
• The Ford Foundation
• The Rockefeller Foundation
The group has also previously received government grants and maintains close ties with prominent Democrat officials, including former NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio.
As seen in recent North Carolina ICE disruptions, these NGO-funded networks host training sessions that teach activists how to obstruct, provoke, and overwhelm law enforcement.
Yet, none of this is grassroots or organic.
This is coordinated, paid activism designed to undermine federal law.
Minimal Consequences, Maximum Damage
Despite the countless criminal violations committed during these blockades, local law enforcement rarely makes more than token arrests.
Riot control tactics are rarely deployed, putting officers at risk while empowering paid agitators to escalate their tactics.
Meanwhile, ICE is under-resourced and often outnumbered, especially in Democrat-run cities where local officials openly side with activists rather than federal law.
The lack of deterrence creates a simple incentive structure:
• Funding + organization + zero consequences = unlimited obstruction.
• A Manufactured Crisis Designed to Corner President Trump
The ultimate goal may be political, not logistical.
By engineering enough street-level chaos, NGOs and Democrat political operatives could try to force President Donald Trump to deploy the National Guard.
It allows the obedient liberal corporate media to instantly label Trump “authoritarian” for responding to the crisis they helped create.
But at some point, optics must give way to reality.
Americans Support Enforcement
Polling continues to show that 66% of Americans support deportations for illegal aliens.
The public voted for Trump to reverse the immigration catastrophe created by Joe Biden’s autopen and the Democratic Party.
What we’re witnessing in NYC and other sanctuary jurisdictions is not “civil disobedience,” it’s a direct, coordinated attack on federal law and the will of American voters.
And unless the administration confronts the source of this orchestrated obstruction, the NGOs and globalist donors funding it, the chaos will only escalate.
