Stephen Miller Takes a Flamethrower to Democrats’ ‘Musk Being Unelected’ Narrative

Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller has debunked the false narrative being pushed by Democrats that President Donald Trump’s administration officials are “unelected.”

In a mic-drop statement during an appearance on Fox News, Miller argued that the real unelected power in Washington D.C. lies within the entrenched federal bureaucracy.

Miller highlighted how Trump, elected by the American people to serve as their president, has the authority to direct his staff in implementing his administration’s policies.

“The Democrat use of the term ‘unelected’ is really quite remarkable here,” Miller said.

“Donald Trump was elected in an overwhelming landslide.

“These are Donald Trump staffers,” he noted.

“This is like saying that Mike Walls, the National Security Adviser, is unelected, or Susie Wiles, the Chief of Staff, is unelected, or Donald Trump’s communications team is unelected.

“This is presidential staff that serves at the pleasure and for the President, just as I do.”

Miller emphasized that the president is the only official elected by the entire nation and has the mandate to shape federal policy.

“I am a staffer for the President of the United States,” Miller continued.

“He is elected. He is the one that the American people have chosen to implement his agenda.

“This is the agenda the American people voted for that he is asking his staff, his subordinates, his employees to implement.”

Miller shifted focus to the federal agencies that, he argued, have operated outside of the president’s authority.

He noted that these agencies have worked against Trump throughout his time in office.

“The unelected power in this country is the rogue bureaucracy,” he stated.

USAID is unelected. The FBI that persecuted President Trump for eight years is unelected.

“The CIA and those who have laundered intelligence to try to change the foreign policy of the United States are unelected.”

Miller’s comments reflect longstanding concerns from Trump and his allies about federal agencies that have actively undermined the administration’s policies.

Trump has repeatedly criticized agencies like the FBI and CIA for actions taken during and after his presidency.

Those concerns include investigations that Trump has described as politically motivated.

According to Miller, Trump’s approach to government is about restoring democratic control over a bureaucracy that has grown resistant to oversight.

“President Trump is restoring democracy by controlling the federal bureaucracy,” Miller explained.

“There is one man in the country who is elected by the whole American people to implement an agenda they support. That is the President.

“Every other officer in this country, members of Congress and Senators, are elected at the state or local level.

“One man in charge of the federal executive branch, and that’s the President.”

WATCH:

Miller’s remarks reinforce the Trump administration’s commitment to dismantling what it sees as bureaucratic overreach.

The administration is pushing toward ensuring that federal agencies align with the policies chosen by voters.

As Trump ramps up his America First agenda, these themes continue to play a central role in his message to supporters.

This shift promises a government that is accountable to the people, not to unelected officials in Washington D.C.
