A major new study has confirmed that at least 45 percent of listed “Covid deaths” were not actually caused by the virus.
A team of top Greek researchers analyzed the death data from seven hospitals in Athens, Greece.
The team was led by Dr. Dimitrios Basoulis of the Infectious Diseases / COVID-19 Unit at the Laiko General Hospital in Athens.
Dr. Basoulis and his team discovered that a staggering 45.3% of listed “Covid deaths” had been faked.
Those patients had died from other causes, but their deaths were recorded as being caused by COVID-19.
The results of the study were published in the journal Scientific Reports.
The researchers investigated a total of 530 hospital mortalities that had been registered as “Covid deaths.”
However, only 290 (54.7%) could have actually been caused by COVID-19.
240 deaths (45.3%) were found to be completely unrelated to COVID-19 and could not have been caused by the virus.
These patients had simply died with a positive PCR test, but showed no symptoms, required no Covid-specific treatment, and died of clearly unrelated causes.
Nevertheless, their deaths were officially recorded as being caused by Covid.
The researchers found that 204 certificates listed Covid as the sole cause of death.
However, only 132 (64.7%) of these 204 patients were confirmed to be caused by Covid after clinical review.
324 death certificates listed COVID-19 as a contributing factor.
Yet, only 86 (26.5%) were found to be truly related to the virus.
The study also found that patients who became infected with Covid while being treated in the hospital for something else were far more likely to have their cause of death misclassified.
Patients infected during hospitalization were significantly more likely to be misclassified as COVID-19 deaths (OR: 2.3, p = 0.001).
In addition, patients who died “with” Covid were younger.
They were also more likely to be immunosuppressed, have end-stage liver disease, or be admitted for other causes.
This study found that nearly half of all registered “Covid deaths” during the Omicron wave in Greece were misclassified.
Of those misclassified deaths, there was no clinical evidence linking them to COVID-19 as the true cause.
Similar death coding practices were employed across most Western nations.
It’s likely that death counts were artificially inflated to a comparable degree elsewhere.
In fact, this is not the first time that such discrepancies have been discovered.
As Slay News reported last August, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) was caught publishing fabricated data on “Covid deaths” to massively exaggerate the alleged issue.
According to the CDC, COVID-19 is the fourth leading cause of death in America.
The federal health agency claims Covid is killing 186,552 people a year.
However, according to a report, the incidence of COVID-19 deaths has plummeted since the pandemic.
Yet, the CDC continued to claim that “Covid deaths” were more than three times higher than they were.
As Slay News has previously reported, Covid is often listed as a cause of death if the person had a positive test for the virus, even if it didn’t kill them.
In one shocking example, a man who was killed in a motorcycle accident was marked down as dying from Covid because his corpse tested positive for the virus.
Alarmingly, the vast majority of people who were labeled as so-called “Covid deaths” by the CDC actually died of other causes, such as cancer and heart disease.
Meanwhile, medical professionals have testified that they were pressured to artificially inflate the number of Covid deaths during the pandemic.
Several whistleblowers provided explosive testimony during an official inquiry, revealing that hospitals were even euthanizing patients during the pandemic and blaming their deaths on Covid.
The patients were reportedly given a lethal drug combination before their deaths were listed under “COVID-19” in an apparent effort to boost the number of fatalities from the virus.
The bombshell testimonies were provided during the Scottish COVID-19 Inquiry.
