‘Depraved’ Texas Democrat Calls for ICE Agents to Be Shot in the Street

A Texas Democrat is under fire after allegedly calling for the assassination of federal immigration agents on social media.

The disturbing development comes amid escalating violence against U.S. border personnel.

The violent calls were made by  a Democrat political consultant and current San Antonio City Council candidate.

The Department of Homeland Security confirmed that Gauna, a self-described Democrat operative running for local office in Texas, made a now-deleted post on X in which he openly called for the killing of federal immigration officers.

According to a screenshot posted by DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin, Gauna wrote:

“I wanna see a few dead ICE agents Los Angeles!

“Don’t let me down.”

McLaughlin condemned the rhetoric, calling it “depraved.”

The threat was posted in response to reporting by Fox News correspondent Bill Melugin.

It was in apparent protest of a recent ICE enforcement operation in Los Angeles’s MacArthur Park, which was also met with public interference from Democrat Mayor Karen Bass.

While Gauna’s original post was removed, multiple users on X archived screenshots before deletion.

Calls for Gauna’s arrest and prosecution spread rapidly online.

Texas Attorney General candidate Aaron Reitz joined the chorus.

Reitz stated plainly that Gauna should be criminally charged.

McLaughlin hinted that action could be forthcoming, posting: “We’ll see you soon.”

The timing of the incendiary post raised further concern, as it coincided with a separate attack in Texas.

Ryan Louis Mosqueda, wearing tactical gear, opened fire at a U.S. Border Patrol station in McAllen.

Agents and law enforcement quickly neutralized the shooter.

The motive remains under investigation.

The rising threats against immigration enforcement officers have added pressure on officials to respond swiftly and decisively.

In recent years, ICE agents and Border Patrol officers have reported an increase in both verbal threats and physical attacks, often fueled by anti-ICE sentiment on the far Left.

So far, no public apology has been issued by Gauna, and no charges have yet been announced.

The DHS and state law enforcement agencies are reportedly reviewing the matter.
