A group of leading scientists has sent shockwaves through scientific communities by exposing a “molecular link” between Covid mRNA “vaccines” and a deadly heart condition behind surging sudden deaths.
A new study from Peking University Hospital of Stomatology is raising urgent questions about the safety of mRNA injections.
The findings have exposed a molecular mechanism responsible for the surge in post-shot myocarditis cases.
The research, led by Dr. Xi-yuan Ge and colleagues, argues that the chemical modifications built into mRNA shots may also interfere with the body’s natural regulation of inflammation in heart cells.
These modifications were supposedly designed to stabilize the “vaccine,” the researchers explain.
Their findings were published in the journal Frontiers in Immunology.
How the mRNA Interferes With the Heart
The team studied AC16 human cardiomyocytes, a cell model widely used to mimic human heart tissue.
They transfected these cells with in vitro transcribed (IVT) mRNA containing the same N1-methylpseudouridine (m1Ψ) modification used in Pfizer and Moderna’s “vaccines.”
What they found was alarming.
The modified mRNA (modRNA) caused a twofold increase in the inflammatory cytokine IL-6, a powerful immune signal tied to inflammation and heart damage.
In cells already primed with inflammation, IL-6 production doubled again, while cell death spiked by 30 percent.
Biomarkers linked to cardiac stress also surged; CK-MB levels rose 1.5-fold, and cardiac troponin I doubled.
These results align disturbingly with what doctors have observed in real-world myocarditis cases among the “vaccinated.”
The Mechanism Behind the Damage
The study highlights a process known as competing endogenous RNA (ceRNA) interactions.
In simple terms, the synthetic mRNA acted as a “decoy,” grabbing hold of a microRNA (hsa-let-7f-5p) that normally suppresses IL-6.
By hijacking this regulator, the vaccine-style mRNA essentially unleashed unchecked IL-6 production, amplifying inflammation in the heart.
This provides one of the clearest molecular explanations yet for why myocarditis can follow mRNA injections.
Connecting the Dots With Other Research
The findings add to a mounting body of evidence.
As Slay News recently reported, pathologist Dr. Sucharit Bhakdi has warned that myocarditis from Covid shots is not a “rare” or “mild” condition but a potentially lethal injury that leaves behind permanent scarring in the heart.
He noted that even mild inflammation can lead to sudden cardiac arrest in young, otherwise healthy people.
Similarly, a Japanese study published last month detected spike protein lodged in heart tissue months after vaccination, raising alarm that ongoing immune activation could explain the waves of cardiac deaths being dismissed as “unexplained.”
By offering a precise biochemical mechanism, Dr. Ge’s study now ties these clinical red flags to the very molecular design of the vaccines themselves.
Implications for Vaccine Safety
While regulators and pharmaceutical companies continue to insist that myocarditis is “rare,” the new findings suggest there may be a built-in molecular trigger tied directly to the vaccine’s design.
Dr. Ge’s team concludes that current mRNA vaccine architecture could be inadvertently disrupting heart biology, and that future vaccine platforms must be redesigned to avoid this deadly interaction.
The paper comes with no disclosed conflicts of interest and was conducted under Peking University’s research standards.
