Trump Admin Revokes Student Visas of 300 College Campus Agitators

President Donald Trumpโ€™s administration has revoked the student visas of over 300 foreign students believed to be behind the pro-Hamas protests on college campuses across the country.

The Trump administration said Thursday that these agitators now face deportation.

Investigators are โ€œlooking every dayโ€ for foreign students who have aligned themselves with terrorist groups like Hamas, Secretary of State Marco Rubio confirmed.

โ€œWe do it every day,โ€ Rubio told reporters during a press conference in Guyana.

โ€œEvery time I find one of these lunatics, I take away their visa.โ€

โ€œMaybe more, it might be more than 300 at this point,โ€ Rubio said.

Rubio stated three weeks ago on X that the administration has a โ€œzero toleranceโ€ policy for student protesters who express sympathy or solidarity with Hamas terrorists.

โ€œThose who support designated terrorist organizations, including Hamas, threaten our national security,โ€ he wrote.

โ€œThe United States has zero tolerance for foreign visitors who support terrorists.

โ€œViolators of U.S. law โ€” including international students โ€” face visa denial or revocation, and deportation.โ€

The State Department named the policy โ€œCatch and Revoke.โ€

The operation uses AI tools and other resources to pull data from visa holdersโ€™ social media accounts.

Officials can discover who is supporting Hamas and spreading pro-terrorism propaganda online.

โ€œAt some point, I hope we run out because weโ€™ve gotten rid of all of them,โ€ Rubio said.

โ€œBut, weโ€™re looking every day for these lunatics.โ€

Citing common sense, Rubio said it would be โ€œstupidโ€ to allow students to stay in the country to cause trouble and turmoil here.

It would be โ€œstupid for any country in the world to welcome people into their country that are going to go to their universities โ€ฆ to start a riot โ€ฆ take over a library and harass people,โ€ he said.

โ€œI donโ€™t care what movement youโ€™re involved in,โ€ he continued.

โ€œWhy would any country in the world allow people to come and disrupt?

โ€œWe gave you a visa to come and study and get a degree, not to become a social activist that tears up our university campuses.โ€

โ€œIf you come into the United States as a visitor and create a ruckus for us, we donโ€™t want it,โ€ Rubio added.

โ€œWe donโ€™t want it in our country.

โ€œGo back and do it in your country.

โ€œBut youโ€™re not going to do it in our country.โ€

Just over 400,000 student visas were given out by the U.S. government in 2024.

The visas are approved so that mostly college-age individuals can study at U.S. higher learning institutions.

While most visas are accepted if students can show they have enough money to complete a degree in the U.S., they also have to agree to follow our laws while they are here.

Getting arrested at a protest has given the government just what it needs to send them back.

Rubio and President Trump are hoping the crackdown on ringleaders will take the wind out of campus protest sails and calm things down.
